So I can give you an official MR2 wave when I roll by!! :D
I've been waving at a few MR2 owners, but all I'm getting is a wierd look in return!! :lol:
I've met a few MR2 owners in person (RDSCelica ,TurboMR2 and mr2import - cool guys BTW!! :bthumbup: ) and Stealth I know, but haven't met anyone else.

Hiya Blown_MR2,
I think we met at 2F2F last summer, then at Hot import nights as well a couple of weeks after. I drive the green/gold AW11. We all went to Moxie's for dinner after.
Anyways, I would like to post a pic of mine, but I cannot post attachments. Maybe I can email you a pic and you can post for me.
I seem to have better luck at waving @ fellow Mister2'ers. Alot do wave back. I did have one give me the finger last summer (that was a bummer). But that hasn't stopped me. I still wave to whoever is driving one.
BTW, what is exactly for sale in the pic? That wooden park bench? Or is it that SW20 in front of it, LOL?

Hey, no I've only had my 2 for about 4 -5 months now. Plus, I never went to the 2F2F premier, another deuce owner, not me.

Sunil.. Thanks man.... I fell in love with that Royal Sapphire Pearl Paint (RSP) when I originally saw it on the MKIV Supra.. In a magazine of course :)
When the oppourtunity came up to have a color change... I didn't have to think to hard to decide what I wanted..
and on top of that it's still a factory Toyota color which is even better! :bthumbup:

back in the day I remember out of all our cars Felix's engine ran the strongest stock.. it would have been sweet if he still had it..
man seeing all these nice clean MR2's... I think we should plan another meet before SCCII... plan a day when we can get most of the members out... hopefully bigger than Rob's meet at his house that we didn't even know was a meet. :lol:

Sunil is it the stabalizer arm that your replacing that Rob found when changing your suspension or is this a totally new problem..

btw Rob won't be back till the earliest Monday of next week man..
BC2004 is in full effect this upcoming weekend with all the events ..
As for getting some of the guys to meet up..
how's anytime the week of Aug 16 sound or sometime on the weekend... either August 21st or 22nd..
we can meet up sometime in the evening if it's during the week to acccomate some of us who have to work the 9-5 shift..
or anytime on the weekend..

I actually have to replace the whole strut housing. $170 later from Toyota and we're good to go. :D
Ok, just got off the phone with JP. We're (me, him and Stealth ) planning to meet up with the other 780tuner guys tomorrow at the Wednesday night meet.
The rest of you boys (MR2 guys) shoud come out. Wendy's on 97th street and 137 Ave.

Felix sold his SW20!!!!
I do remember his was the strongest running one in the bunch at the time. He is a great guy, pretty funny, too. He had me laughing pretty good the one night @ dinner.
Geez, can't believe he sold it. Is he at least driving another MR2?
I still have not got my new tranny in yet. Should be back from rebuilder's sometime next week (Fingers crossed). Centerforce should be in by this friday, hopefully. I will try to get the MKI on the road by the meet, again, hopefully. Until then, there it sits in the garage quietly.
That manhole cover really did a job on my tranny three weeks ago. Shattered the casing, nuts, bolts, parts oil everywhere on the road.
I am actually trying to find another MKI, as I am going to give this one to my kid.
JP, you've done a absolutely fantastic job with your ride. And the paint choice is a thing of beauty. Excellent work!!!
I should be able to pop by and say hi anyways. It will be good to see JP and the rest of you.

Now that he got a bike is even worse cause on nice days he rather ride then drive the car... I always bug him about letting me take it out while he's not using it... :p
Damn it's such a sweet car.. IMO the nicest looking MR2 in town!! that's if it ever leaves the garage
