Another day at the track..... - Click HERE for Original Thread

Heeter
It was another nice Friday evening @ the track.

Was happy to see Rob there, back from his trek out to the BC2004. I personally hadn't seen him since last summer.

I was there with several of my friends and their old school muscle cars.

The track itself was really not start friendly this evening, as overall seen by most cars that were up to a second off their usual times. A couple of cars/trucks in our group were settings times that they haven't seen in the last four years. Looks like the starting box was the culprit, since the cars attained the same mph speeds at the ends of their runs.

I did bring my video camera to the track, got a few great shots of Rob's passes. When I have time, I will transfer it to my computer.

All in all, I had a great time. Being with friends. I kinda hoped there might of been more Mister2's there, but oh well.

See you all there next Friday, hopefully.

lol yup,i knew 13's wouldnt be an issue.

ya I could only bust a 13.7 :dunno: Im still happy with it but I know that I can easily run better than that with my current setup and *only* 15psi :D

I was having a hard time with traction and I was getting CRAZY wheel hop even with my suspension setup. I could only manage a 2.0 60ft which is good but I was trying to go for a 1.8 on street tires :p I only took 4 passes cause I really did not like the sound of the wheel hop and my friends were ready to call it quits as well... SCC should be fun :)

I NEED an upgraded IC! I tried turning the boost up a little bit for my last run but instead it dropped to 14psi due to the heatsoak...fuck haha

17psi on the highway afterwords felt nice tho... 19 should be better :)

JP, get back to work you slacker! hahaha:bthumbup:

Helder, it was great to see you again! Im looking forward to seeing some of that footage :)

TurboMR2

Maybe you need to race a hick in a duramax diesel down the track!! :D

Heeter
Rob,

I don't think it was your ride actually,

On our end, we were getting the problems on the start box as you were. I don't think that there was enough VHT stuff applied to startbox for the night.

When I get off my slackass myself, I will probably put an mpeg together of one of your trips down the track.

Get back to work!!!!

I managed a personal best 1.85 60' on Friday night, If you are getting wheel hop, you are hooking up TOO WELL for your suspension.

RDS Celica
hahahaha ya Im just giving you a hard time JP, Im doin the same thing myself:bthumbup: I hate mondays haha

Sunil : I still cant get over how fast that truck was! haha that was an awesome race

pro drag : I was trying to gradually stiffen my suspension in order to find a nice medium between spin/hop but it still seemed to bust crazy wheel hop just before it would hook, no matter what the settings...

I need some TRD mounts $bling$
