I wonder what kind of numbers that JDM H22 (boosted) would have put down. ;)

That still remains to be seen.
The Hondata for the Del Slo will be here tuesday. Supercharged or turbocharged afterwards, we haven't decided.

Insomniac
DAMN... are you sure you have stock bottom end???

4G63PWR
I thought you were only going to be using a mustang dyno.

It isn't available for booking at the hours we require.
I am still a BIG Mustang Dyne fan. If the boys at Apex get their brake loading addition, it would be a total toss up.

Positive.
The little bastard seems to be a miracle child. Andrew even missed a shift at the track last friday, went from 7200 in 4th to THIRD. We are estimating about 10,500 revs momentarily, and doesn't seem to show any ill effects.
I really wanna k24 in there though. mmmmmmmmmm, displacement.

Insomniac
I just woke up and thought the following:

Were these numbers raw, or corrected? I bet they're corrected, that would make more sense since the car didn't explode on the dyno :D

Dammit, I bet my girlfriend would actually win if we were talking about raw numbers:mad:

Pro Drag
Conditions were:
22.38 Degrees Celsius
27.58 in-Hg
SAE = 1.08

Insomniac
still, a lot of power...

What happended at the track today?

SplineZ
Blaine..

You wouldnt happen to be using a mitsubishi turbo feeding that honda engine would ya? <avatar>

James Z

WeDgE
I knew it had to be over 300whp due to the race gas usage (mo' booooost). Congrats on the dyno Blaine!

Is that still the same car you guys were blowing out at $5K??

One and the same.
What is the record for HP/Litre for a stock block and head Integra LS/GS, or even a GSR?

95IntegraRS
Dunno, but I'll find out for you Blaine. Your pretty close to the top though.

po9rs4ch4e
congrats, i didn't know honda's could make torque :p

Anonymoose
Hondas can't, turbos can! :p

If we get wheelspin off the line, the shift to 5th is necessary as the rev limiter is 7200, we usually short shift it since actually hitting the revlimiter kills the trap speed.
The best E.T the car has managed was done trapping on the rev limiter in 4th.

DomesticDrifter
i think its time to get rid of the rpm limiter! i wanna hear that thing spool and scream to 10000 rpm next summer! i'm sure it can take 10k for at least a second be for it will pop. btw did you do a top speed run on the dyno, i'm curious to what it would be.

Why did you choose leaded race fuel instead of one of the unleaded varieties available?

I have been trying to get rid of the RPM limiter with the Hondata. I think we have been OVER octaning the engine as it simply doesn't want to rev over 73-7400.
I want 8500 RPM minimum. That way first gear might actually be USEFULL.
We never did a top speed run.

I didn't choose it, Andrew did. Detonation insurance so to speak.
We are gonna try it my way this weekend. ;)
When the Sivik did it's 11.97 and 12.00 flat passes last year, I secretly had some of my special recipe in the tank.
Rob is going to run some in his Daytona as well this weekend.
If my theories are correct, look for personal bests out of both cars by a significant margin.

95IntegraRS
Interesting. Can't wait to see the Pro Drag crew out there tearing up the track this weekend.

ChromeDragon
I shall be out, although I'm not too sure if I'll race. I suppose I'll see how I feel that morning.:dunno:

Insomniac
Who's all doing what events? I'm gonna check out SCC if the weather's nice...

Same rollcall on Sunday with the addition of Black Sunshine.
