removing side skirts attached with epoxy - Click HERE for Original Thread

Ayu
As most of you all know epoxy is crazy strong stuff.

How can one remove it with minor damage to the skirt and paint?

SplineZ
freeze it and use a chisel?

good luck tho :) epoxy doesnt really come off..

Epoxy thinner would eat the plastic.. and probly the paint too..

kinda stuck you will prolly do some damage to the paint no matter what. Just try some goof off and some elbow greese. You can minimize your damage but you will probably have a little

Stuff called "Industry Cleaner". Totally safe on all painted surfaces, removes epoxy, tar, gum, egg, all kinds of "bad for cars paint" stuff. And leaves a lovely orange smell!

Ayu
Industy Cleaner, where can I find that stuff?

Princess Auto, Crappy Tire?

A company called "Wurth" makes it. I get it at a gm dealer where i work, but most places should have it.
