Now here at your local dealer.

I like the old head/tail lights. It's about time they put 17s on it.

oldraven
It's different?

Nesryn
The headlights are different... That's all I can see :dunno:

oldraven
The headlights look like they've been lifted directly from the new Grand Prix.

energie

and probably took away 10 lb/feet of tq. lol. i like the new tail lights but not the head lights, they look like ralli art lancer headlights.

TheWask
New front end, changed the rear a little, added 17's, new gauge cluster, 10 more HP ITR TB,IM,CAMS also the ITR final drive, weighs a littlre more then the 02's - 04's.

IDiOM
Heh, front end kinda looks like a cavalier now with those changed headlamps.

Keith303

Anonymoose

Altezza

silverTEG

REFLUX
well the 05 RSX sounds much more like the Integra Type-R in Japan (RSX-R)
Wonder if they put in an LSD and changed the gearing of the tranny any...

with a lot of weight loss it sounds like it has potential

Does anyone know the engine code of the 05RSX?
Is it still a K20A3/2 (whatever the base/type-s is) or could it be a K20A (RSX-R)?????

Insomniac
I like that car a lot, but it is a lot of money! $34K with freight, according to the web. For that price I'd expect good tires and a more sporty suspension (a la mazdaspeed, Spec-V, etc).

That's WRX territory, and while I preffer the RSX, it doesn't have the same value IMO (no turbo or AWD).

It comes with the ITR final drive. Not sure if it has the same engine code, kinda in between an K20A and a K20A2, doesn't have the ITR pistons or the same ECU which explains the 10 less hp.

BLK_LBL
it looks pretty good, But i think I liked the headlights/tails off the older RSX better

I like Paseo's though

The type-S engine now has engine code K20Z1.
previous engine codes:
Type-R K20A
Type-S K20A2
base K20A3

It is bumped from 200hp to 210hp with new cams, less restrictive intake manifold, exhaust and cat, and higher redline by 200rpm.
It now has the ITR FD, but still no LSD.

There are also changes to the suspension (slightly lower, revised spring/shock rates, larger sways), steering (quicker ratio), and brake (larger MC) systems to increase their performance.

There is more body rigidity, sound insulation, and weight is up 70lbs.

There is a completely new ECU that Hondata has so far been unable to hack. the 02-04 RSX has an ODBI system with flashable memory, the new ECU doesn't appear to be flashable.

energie
i saw the comericial for it, it didn't look that bad to me, just the headlights.
