| I've got a friend who scraped up her 1.6 EL rims. Can they be fixed? Where in Edmonton can I go to get them fixed? |

Is it generally expensive to fix scratches? How much (guestimate) do you think this kind of thing costs? Is it worth it relative to getting a new wheel?
I'm gonna go down this weekend and get some estimates. Any other places I can shop around with? Any good experiences?
Cheers! |

| Wheel works quoted me around 70-80 bucks to fix some curb rash on one of my rims. |

| Wheel Works is the place to go. My gf's car has a nice curb rash on one wheel and I thought it was pretty bad. They said no problem about $100 to fix. Thats awesome opposed to about $300 for a used rim. Also one of my aftermarket wheels was damaged at a tire shop and they got Wheel Works to fix it. Beautiful job, you can't tell which wheel was fixed. I dont know the price it was as I didnt have to pay for it. |

Here's another vote for Egberts. That's where Modern sends all their rims to be fixed. About $75 per rim for a fix, but of course that can vary depending on how bad the damage is. Takes about a day.

(taken from hours of observing female parking methods from cafe windows, passenger seats and parking lots)
