lesson is taught, if u mod your car get a good alarm, connect the subs to the frame , get a back up battery to power your alarm andget a loud ass one.
You gotta protect the investment. spend the money get a good alarm. |

| I love my alarm and I don't even have that much stuff in my car, but the things is if somebody really wants to get your stuff they will. They only thing that I think might keep your stuff save if a locked garage. Even then nobody is totaly safe. |

And as far as them makin off with your car...
WIRE IN A FUEL CUT AND/OR IGNITION CUT SWITCH and place it randomly somewhere in your car, or even outside of your car...they wont know what they are looking for and they wont find it. Keypad start, thumbprint scanner....you can get as fancy or as canadian tireish as you want :bthumbup:
What they did to your ignition probably took under a minute...but with a fuel cut switch they would have given up and buggered off. Just a suggestion... |

yeah lol i have my fuel cut off switch connected to my PiAA lights :D. i dont care u guys know it cause if i am too far away to hear my 3 sirens blarin as u drive away and if u are able to drive away with sirens blarin and no one payin attention god forbid. but yeah its a good thing to have.

That's really shitty man. I just recieved my window to replace the one that got smashed. I'm not into stereo stuff, but people will break into a car just to get spare change. It's really sad, when a couple of bucks worth of change is worth commiting a crime for.
It's especially tough for you guys who like nice stereos.

Hey guys, I do have an alarm but its not a 2-way. So I didn't hear it. I also used to have an LED scanner and never had one break in attempt when I had it. Maybe it helped, maybe not but I'll be putting some more LEDs back in and upgrading to a Compustar as soon as I can afford it.
They tried to steal the car and when they couldn't start it they just started grabbing the stereo. It blows my mind that they stole my screwdriver and manually unscrewed the subs.
Turns out the insurance company is going the full 9 yards on the stereo and replacing it and installing at their cost. But they also said I can upgrade and pay the difference.
All in all, a shitty deal and a pain in the ass. The adjuster also asked about the nitrous and changing the policy on the car because of it. |

| i got nailed 2 months ago the little fucks got a good surprise tho...i blew my amp the night they broke in so i had all my shit in the garage...they ripped apart my entire car looking for my audio but all they found were wires lol but i now keep a bat by my front door so the next person i see touchin my car at night is gettin tied up and ill post a forum and we can all make a day out of beating the living shit out of these punks |

It has almost become a casual thing to say "yeah my car was broken into". It's so common it's pathetic. I'd like to say that if the cops went after the drug trade, the breakins would go down(because we all know many of these are related to people needing drug money) but if they did that the drugs would be more expensive and cause more breaksins for more money...

Its a rare deal to find an insurance company to go all out.. mine gave me "depreciated" values for all my stuff :(
