It would probably be cheaper and smarter to sell the auto and pick up a 5spd IS300

Change the stall speed on the torque converter, and you will beat most manuals in a drag race.

no shit...

I can't imagine a converter would be exactly a common piece for that car eithe..

Insomniac
why would you just get an auto and then want a 5spd

this is CYA's old car, isn't it?

I would guess a tranny swap would cost $6 to $10k if done right.

MX5 Miata Guy
Comparing the issue on a Miata, here's the breakdown:

- Pedal box
- Clutch master cylinder
- Clutch slave cylinder
- Transmission
- ECU
- Pistons
- Exhaust cams
- Various interior bits

Why not sell the car and look for a 5spd...or live the AT car until you find a 5spd?

RWD
dont be a noob and just keep the auto. u got a is300 btw
