Whose dead S2000? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Mavrick
A buddy of mine was telling me that he saw a black S2000 on 111 Street or so, down by Southgate Mall on his way home from work. Apparently the young feller in the Honda thought he needed to teach the Pontiac a lesson, so he dropped a gear or two, and belched some nasty smoke clouds out from under the hood before parking with the 4-ways on.

I bet that made somebody's day.

owned?

I wonder if he was in the redline zone when he misjudged and downshifted? Don't know what else could it be to cause the smoke to develop in the engine bay?

S2000's do that too? I thought that was a trademark of the itr's mostly. Oh well, i guess all vtec engines do it to some extent. It's a little unnerving at first, but i got used to it. Sorry to change the topic.

No, can't say i have. The only place i'd be sporting that awful looking thing is at the track, though, personally. Ugly, but very functional. But that's just my opinion.
