Well i just got the above ticket right just off of Whyte ave. I'm wondering if demerits are going to be coming my way and is this ticket fightable?!?

| fight it. they probably got you on either size or sound level. either way they didn't measure shit so take it to the judge, and put the cop on tthe stand and ask him/her how big your exhaust is. boom your off. |

Hmmm. Thats intresting. He acted like he was measuring right before he gave me the ticket. He got out of the car; kneeled beside my exhaust for a short period of time (~2 seconds) and then gave me my ticket. Do you think he actually measured it?:confused: |

| take the chance u got nothing to lose... you can ask him to say what it was and take a picture of your exhaust with a measuring tape to prove what it truely is. |

No demerits, just a fine.
Unless you told him you had changed your muffler you might be able to fight it. Take it to court and ask the officer what the diameter of your existing exhaust was... and then ask him what the stock diameter for your car's exhaust is. If he screws up it might get dismissed, but I wouldn't count on it. :dunno: |
