| hey, my friend told me that there was a new law passed sept 1 and he said that for ANY ticket their's demerit points handed out as well, even for non moving violations, excluding photoradar. and that if u get caught with a radar detector or one of those license plate cover's, it's double the former cost. is this true? TIA. |

| maita guy, i dunno wut that means, but are u referring to me as the second idiot? my friend said that he got the info from a guy that works for "points" that place that fights your tickets, unless ur calling them both idiots... i dunno, i just want to know if it's true or not, i thought someone would know. |

| well all he told me was that points guy said that insurance is going down, but if u get tickets and such it will skyrocket it, so i guess u just have to drive like an angel? |

I haven't heard of anything like this. I agree the insurance is supposed to change toot sweet but as far as how it will affect things I have no idear (okay I watch American Chopper too much).
