I would say it looks good, but I can't see anything on those fuzzy ass pictures - you can swap a motor, but can't take pictures. :thefinger

Gimme a holla when you first fire her up, biotch.

stealth
ha ya i know i was cold, and didnt have patience to focus lol.

RDS Celica
lookin good Sam! Have you started on the wiring yet?

stealth
dont need wiring unless it is a gEn III swap as the wiring is different.

if youre going same jens all you need is to connect the ecu, and the engine wiring harness, which is pug and play, and is complete :)

^^^ Just take your time and learn your "new" car before you wrap it around a tree.

There's a big difference from 130 HP to 225 HP / 224 ft / lbs of torque - yikes!!! Sounds nice!!

To get more specific on what needs to be connected for the car to start it is the following:

IAC Intake Pipe (dont have intake to connect to)
PCV Hose (dont have intake to connect to)

Does anyone know if i can run with these open?

Thx

Sam

O and one more thing, does anyone know how to dissasemble a fuel supply pipe as mine is cut in half and i would like to switch it so i can start my car tomorrow.

RDS Celica
you can run without both....But first off I dont really think its a good idea to be driving around on a newly swapped motor with no air intake and just an exposed compressor wheel

it would not be very fun to suck a piece of gravel or something through your turbo ;) At the very least, but some screen over it or something with a hose clamp.

Just plug the PCV hose up or else just leave it open... oil will just vent out into your engine bay if anything. I wouldnt worry :)

stealth
ha it wont be moving anywhere, just will start it in my garage.

does that mean the hose going from the BPV to the intake can be left open also, if just starting in the garage?

Thx

Sam

mr2_import
wesam give me a call when you start it up like to see it plz :)
