| Cool, yea I like the way those scoops look. MR2 is the only car that can get away with a huge ass scoop like that and still look pimp. What do you Sam? I thought the whole point was to draw air into your engine bay... Stick a filter in the top and run it straight into your throttle body! Hah. |

The way the scoop look to be designed is actually deceiving... even though the drivers side scoop feed directly on top of the intake actually disrupts the natural airflow in the engine bay..
most scoops are actually more for show than functional.. |

I am in for bomex scoops, drivers and passenger.
Matt the scoops keep air (hot) in the engine bay, when it should be flowing though the side vents and out the engine lid. So it screws it up :) |

yea some how block it, but yet have a whole with a pipe in there, so no airflow gets out, but still goes into the filter.

haha Sunil naw man it's just on minor occassions that i'll leave the car in front.. it's home is actually in the garage in the back :)
kinda funny you mention it though , my neighbour actually likes it sometimes when i park the deuce in front of his place... he always talks to me when it's parked out front and asks how the car is doing in terms of what i'm doing next to it.. Also when he's mowing the lawn in the summer it's funny how much he looks at it.. hahaha
he's a really kewl guy though.. |
