I'm sorry but I just have to say people should not be so abusive to Blaine about the Sivik and such.
I think it is awesome that the Premiere DSM shop of Western Canada has the fastest Civic in Edmonton.
HOW DOES THAT LOOK?
What are the Honda based shops doing?
Congats Blaine now you next year you will also have the fastest DSM here. Maybe even the fastest 4 DSM's here. |

Looks strange. What's a DSM shop doing with a Honda? :P

Building cars that can chew up a road course rather than the 1/4 mile? :dunno:
Regardless, props to Blaine and Pro Drag for building a fast Honda.
They're my shop of choice!! |

You aren't successfull until you have a few haters. |

 for building a fast import. it helps make local edmontonians aware of the potentential in import racing.
however, i gotta also say that i just wish that it didn't look like it was a 9 second drag car.
but on the other hand, at least it's not like that 7.50's certified import "thing" that has yet to run faster than a new stock corolla. |

it's not meant in as bad a manner as it may seem though. i would love to see that thing rip off some awesome et's.
however i just don't see why the basics like even idle tuning isn't sorted out BEFORE it's brought to the track.
heck... even part throttle tuning.
and i won't even bother getting into at least having some half assed WOT tuning on a dyno BEFORE it's brought to the track.
with a scene like import racing where the majority of people already have doubts about the performance ability of smaller internal displacement motors, that car should work out it's bugs first in my opinion.
but hey... to each their own and i hope to see that car rip off some fast et's soon. |

Usually clubs will get together and rent out the track for a day. We just had the SVTOA track day out there on the 18th, lots of fun. :D |

Hey maybe you should listen to your own advise? Instead of jumping on people give someone else props or encouragement. What comes around goes around. No offense to Blaine but what makes him the premiere DSM anything??? There are shops in BC that have there cars running low 11's what did ProDrag ever do yet???? Don't bite off more then you can chew. |

We ran a 11.96 @ 116 MPH on a 72 hour old shortblock, with minimal tuning, on 91 Octane Petro Canada Premium.
16lbs of boost.
What have the other shops done on pump gas? |

Your ignorance only grows everyday Roger! When have I ever said I own or run a full service shop??? Pull your head up out of your ass and give it a shake! I never asked Blaine in my life for free parts just a good deal, which he couldn't even make me, but thats another story altogether.
P.S Why would I need Blaine to work on my car??? Thats what I thougth! |

I won't get in to this with you but I do know about how most of your shop cars have left the dyno! And if you are this great tuner Roger says you are why would you have to fly Marco to half ass tune a car for you?:dunno: Remmeber Roger opened this can of worms not me! |

If you're refering to my car leaving antifreeze once then oil the next time, remember that it was our _intention_ to kill that motor, as we were trying to probe the limits of a factory bottom end. That would be called R&D, in case you hadn't heard of it. |

I agree.
Besides A real DSMer doesn't blow up 5 motors in 2 years then brag how good his car is.
Consistancy shows skill which gets credit.
I'm done with this! |

Heh heh heh.
Most of the cars I have taken to the dyno have shown dramatic increases in horsepower and torque thoughout the RPM range.
I have had the occasional instance where a known problematic car broke down on the dyno. The car being on the dyno at the time of failure has nothing to do with the dyno.
Marco flew out to tune one of HIS MOTORS that HE BUILT for HIS CUSTOMER that he refered to MY SHOP for install. The owner of the car and myself tried to diagnose some strange issues with the car after install of the Haltech Engine Management system. We consulted with Marco over the phone for a long time before it became obvious that something was amiss with the installation harness he himself had provided with the EMS. He flew out to provide after sales support to a customer who had spent alot of money at his shop. We hung out for the day, he tuned his customers car. A problem that traced back to the malfunctioning harness arose. Marco is warranting that particular engine. I don't think that should reflect on me.
:dunno:
Come to think of it, only 2 cars of MY DESIGN have had misshaps at the dyno, Black Sunshine and Deep Blue.
Black Sunshine's 2xx,xxx KM FACTORY BOTTOM END spun a bearing after it had consistently made more than 295 Hp/L @ the crank. It was not a matter of if, but rather when it would happen.
Deep Blue was a different matter, one that we took full responsibility for because the car was in our care when it happened.
I would much prefer to discover a weakness on the dyno than at the track.
Like I have stated in the past:
You really haven't reached success until you have a few haters. |

No you got it wrong Roger a real DSM'er doesn't talk about racing people and his car for three years after dumping tones of money into it. Then go out and blow a head gasket and run mid 13's:bthumbup: A real DSMér doesn't put other down when he's at the track and on the forums. And your the one that brags about your car not me!
P.S Aren't your going to tell me when I was telling people I have a full service shop??? Thats what I thought! :asshole:
P.P.S This was the first time in two years I have had my motor out of my car, get the facts!:p |

I'm really just sick of Roger hating on everyone when he doens't even run his own shit! Atleast were out there supporting the organizers and having fun! Roger "Don't hate the player, Hate the game" Oh wait your not even in the game so don't hate that either! THE END!:fingersx: |

There you go again. LIELIELIE!
Man your so full of it.
3 years without a racing.
I raced in 2003 missed 2004 big fippen deal.
You built your car on borrowed parts and borrowed money which people had a impossible time getting back!
You could run 9's and I'll never give you credit.
By the way the head gasket failure , everyone who I even care a little for knows the story so don't even try blaming me for that.
I hear you installed a Cometic gasket you thought was a HP model. Your not so perfect are you?
Ron I have a huge bloody letter I have been saving for you about your antics and the people who have just had it with you , your attitude and actions. It is made from multiple emails I have recieved over the last 2 years about you from many people some of which are not my friends. The only reason I haven't posted it is the people have to see you at the track and don't need un-necassary friction. Keep pushing though and maybe things will change!
About the shop question I only was baiting you to clearify your shop status because you have been asked about it before and never answered in detail. Looks like my method worked!
Your just a 3rd party seller to those who can't find something on there own. Looks like Blaine is still the only DSM shop in Alberta. |

My car is bought and paid for!:asshole: Everyone that reads this forum this is a formal challenge to Roger to step up and say this shit to my face! Not coward around and ask others about my car when I'm racing! Don't answer on the net, do it next time were at the track! THE END:bthumbup: |
