I am interested in purchasing carbon fiber tails for my prelude, however I have a few questions.
1. I am noticing that this product is made out of ABS rather than actual carbon fiber. Is there any actual "real" carbon fiber tails out there? I am not too sure if I want to replace my stock lights with an immitation product.
2. How do these ABS carbon fiber taillights hold up?
3. How much are these worth new vs the real thing?
4. I am wondering what people think of this product or if the majority of the mod people out there replace their stock lights with the real thing or the ABS version when they are going for this look?

First off, are the tail lights you are referring to are altezzas? If so, don't get them. Altezza's are out.
I've never seen actual CF tail lights, only the CF look. If they were actual CF, they would be hella expensive.
As for normal CF look tails, I'm guessing $300 new :dunno: |

Thanks for the response, but can you tell me the difference between Altezza's and Euro lights? I thought they were the same. The one's im interested in has 3 circular reflectors, and both except the middle are half red reflectors and the other half are white.
How do you know if they are DOT approved? |

| they look horrible on silver....well on most cars but specially silver...the OEM red and white look WAYYY better save ur money and get a CAI new white face gauges |

awwwww, altezzas are not out-they're personal preference. Give the guy a break:)
I just took off my smoked out altezzas in the summer. I put stock back on and just whited out the yellow. It's a phase, and if the guy wants to do it, all the power to him.
