I think 780 should get a mostly unmoderated forum, much like Ask Leo on Beyond. I think its pretty dumb that sex topics got deleted because they were untasteful in the Relationships, Sex, Health and Fitness forum. The forum would obviously need a disclaimer saying that there may be potentially offensive material etc. Of course it would need to be lightly moderated, for things like racism etc, that have absolutely no place on this forum. Hell I would even volunteer to do the moderating. What do you members/mods/admin think?
edit- if you havent seen Ask Leo, register on beyond.ca and go to the bottom of the forum and read it. So much comedy. You are required to be a member to view it. |

I think sex should be discussed in the sex forum, since well, it is a forum for the purpose of discussing ... well sex.
If you read scint's sticky post she says to use discretion, as with my forum if someone posts distasteful pics or non-work safe pics then I will get rid of them, although words and pictures are different. |

I dunno, this is a car forum not a sex forum.
Although it probably wouldn't be negative, it would just weed out more posts from R U bored and put em into the sex forum...

In a sex forum I personally want to hear about girls and their affinity for "members"
I am not going to bad mouth any fellow mods but I think there needs to be consistency and not personal preferences when it comes to things, in this case sexual humor (or lack thereof). |

The stories are for those who have been in those situations just get a laugh out of. Most of those who are a virgin or haven't done something stupid or almost got caught will bel ike hah small chuckle but those who were in my shoes know and laugh a little more.
Main thing was, i was warmin up to my g ood stories since no one else was postin i aint going to throw out the good material. Also i have told those stories before and girls have gotten a laugh and have not found it offensive. I posted in a section i was told too, and i think the bad mouthing about what i posted is coming to an end, we s hould just make a seperate forum for the NWS and the Sex topics so that certain people who wonder into a "sex" topic dont get hit with sex |

I'm assuming this is targetted at me because of the topic that was deleted. By the way, I received a complaint from a couple of members and it was not my personal decision alone that zapped that thread.
As much as we try to have a community feel here, the purpose of 780tuners IS for cars and it is not "nexopia." We'd like to keep this forum as open for everyone without people posting offensive stuff, whether that me in terms of bashing other member's rides, or in any other way because this is supposed to be a constructive and friendly place for people to post their opinions.
You can post about sex and whatnot, ask questions etc...but this isn't exactly penthouse letters of the month here. Keep that in mind. We do have underaged people and sponsers and potential sponsers that read the boards. |
