When do you park THE DEUCE? - Click HERE for Original Thread

ND4SPD
Just wondering when do you park your DEUCE?

I know Stealth and blown_mr2 parked their not too long ago.

Also, what do you need it do when parking it?

blown_mr2
I just filled my tank to the brim and added gas stabalizer.

I start the Deuce at least once a week and roll her up and down my driveway to prevent any parts from seizing up during cold spells.

i'm still waiting for it to get more nice outside so I can properly store the car... right now the bottom half of the car is dirty and my gas indicator is way below the empty line... :(
my car's been like that since we had our first crazy blizzard snowfall that one weekend.. 2-3 weeks ago?

how's everyone's car doing so far...
are any of you using any car covers? stored in a garage?

Poor neglected MR2.;)

No car covers, nice warm garage, parked since the end of September, I miss her. :(

Stored in da garage with a car cover on it and no i don't start my car ever week like some ppl eh sunil that is hard on the motor!

blown_mr2
^^ I don't know Mike. To me, it would be better to start it every week (like it would be started if it was driven) and move to the car up and down the driveway to get the bearings and what not in motion.

It seems like it would be easier on the motor to get the parts in motion once a week, than not start it at all and possibly have parts siezing up (esp in a cold spell).

So I finally got the chance to let the deuce rest peacefully for it's winter hibernation..
washed and cleaned the car today as well as filled up the tank and added fuel stabalizer from Canadian Tire..

filled up the air in the tires and pulled out the battery and now she's finally ready for winter..
so happy to get it over with.. felt i was neglecting the car the last 3 weeks by leaving it dirty and without any gas..haha

I'd have to blame it on mother nature of course. :p

blown_mr2
It's gonna be a loooooooooooong 6 or 7 months boyz. :thumbsdow :tear: :D
