well, I'm not asking u to hand out the key to RAV4...:D
I'm just wondering how many of you have been upon this mystery, escaping from school or work, etc and looking all over around the town?
Myself, I'm not doing it, I feel like shit doing this after listening to couple of clues... so I made a post here. (Occasionally I tune to 96x whenever I get sick of listening to other stations at my work)
Or anybody stick wiz JOE thing or Possible Free CDs wiz Pizza meals? (btw, that pizza store in my neighbour isn't that good since I saw one kitchen staff accidentally made a pizza wiz extra topping on and took them out by bare hands:blink: ) |

| We listen to 96 X at work and I was counting how many times they repeated "Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get It Started" and I counted 9 god damn times! From 8:00am to 6:00pm, 9 times. Thats why I hate the radio.... |

Actually, I prefer to listen those two(I mean Bears and K-Rock). Sometimes phone up 3:30pm trivia question but never had any luck... I hate 96x esp when they played Avril's MY HAPPY ENDING 11 times from 8am to 6pm that was huge:bs: |

| i remeber my gf changed it to 96 once n it said the fugitive was in a photo radar van, i laughed n said no body would be knocking on those windows asking if their the guy lol.... but i only lisen to k-rock and 107.9 on the weekends, and any of u like techno check it out pretty sweet, to bad its only on weekends:( |

Whatever happened to the good ol' days.........when 96.3's claim to fame was that they mentioned the name of EVERY song they played! Man, that's what this city needs more of!
I hate it when I'm listening to the radio and hear a song I despise so much that I want to hunt the singer/group down and kill them and anyone else who ever had anything to do with making the song......and then they don't mention the name of the song. So here I am stuck with all this pent up rage and no crappy "musicians" to take it out on......
.......so I go kill a bum and all is better.

Anyways, I posted about "the fugitive" topic (and other prizes challenge can be discussed too) and not many ppl on this board seems not looking for the Accomplice?:confused:
PS The possible fugitive in Photoradar van story was funny! Maybe I should check out the Dark blue jimmy, silver caravan and white windstar out'here as photoradars in my neighbourhood:p |

Its true, radio stations overplay songs WAAAAAAY too much, until you absolutely hate them. I have all the music I need on my laptop, so I just hook up "Party Shuffle" in iTunes, and away we go, at home or on the road. I'd recommend this to anyone, lol.

They only do this because 98% of music nowadays people will be sick of in 3 months regardless of how often they play it, so they play the crap out of it while someone will still listen. When the 3 months are up the songs pretty much dissapear from Top 40 radio never to be heard again........that is until "flashback" weekends come up 10/20/30 years down the road. Thus is the life of typical radio schlock.

i've listened to ~2 songs from the radio in my car since i got it a year ago. the presets are still set for calgary where i bought it.
it's not the repeating of the songs that bother me, it's the 10minute streaks of commercials, then a song or two ,then commercials all over again (96x). |

When they found the fugitive I thought it was the end of the "ask everyone you know if they are the 96x 10 000 fugitive" commercial.but no.. they have to keep going.. grr! :mad: i hope it is soon over and they dont have another part to find the accomplice's accopmlice.. |

| the fugitive/accomplice deal...watever...wat pisses the crap out of me is how many times a song gets played in a day..its so sad...i remember during the summer during work...me and my friend would listen to 96x...and he would tell me what song would be next b4 it even came on....sad someone can do that...radio is suppose to supply us with a variety of music...sadly this isnt the case anymore |

The problems with the radio stations is that they only play the hits of the artist. This applies to all of the radio stations. Its like acdc, led zepplin, pink floyd..... all had 5 or 6 songs that they ever produced. I have always thought that there sould be a radio station that only plays the "B" side tunes. Then maybe there will be some diversity on the airways. Until that happens its bearshare and mp3 time.

Radio stations in Edmonton suck. I usually listen in the morning and you can't hear one single song. It's always morning shows and they don't play any music. All 96X talks about is those fucking gay ass reality tv shows. the guys with K rock and decent though. They are pretty funny...
