Adam @ Apex
Change it up!

Apex SRT-4

12.06@118mph

Backed with a 12.2@101 (intercooler piping kept blowing off!!)

Runs were done with the same 65 shot...new intercooler, ecu and exhaust were added.

we wanted 11's and I think its there with the power we are making but oh well...another day I guess.

Runs were made today (monday) at a closed track event put on by Jim Bell.

How many people showed up - last I heard there were 8 invited ?

Adam @ Apex
there was about 11 from what I counted. We were in about 2 weeks ago but people dropped out as well.

Congrats! I don't know much about the SRT4 factory internals so don't take this the wrong way but... is my job as official dyno lubricator in jeopardy?

None taken....we are still well within the factory limits.

On the dyno we were seeing pretty much the same out put as before...about 350 whp and 390 wtq...but picking up scads though the power band. At its highest point we jumped 170 wtq and 110 whp.

Things start to go "POP" around the 500 mark. Other shops that we talk with in the states that specialize in srt's have had cars last about a month with power levels as high as 550.

I'm sure we would've reached our goal of an 11 if the other cars out there hadnt oiled down the track and cut the day a bit short. Hopefully the track has another test and tune!!

Insomniac
changed, are we all done for the year?

matrix_xrs
12.25 < 12.257

Hint

Insomniac
really?

matrix_xrs
yes really;)

You have a 12.257 car above a 12.25 car.

What you really have is a 12.257 car shown above a 12.25x? car. The thousandths digit could be anything from a 0 to a 9, remember. Can't assume anything unless you've seen the slip and know what it is.

But look at us... We're arguing over a few thousandths of a second.

Insomniac
Maybe Prodrag should re-submit their time as "12 seconds" and I'll move them to back ahead of APEX:rolleyes:

(using names just to illustrate my point, nothing against PD or Apex...)

Anonymoose
This brings up an interesting points about significant digits. If these were all done at Alberta tracks, shouldn't they all have the same number of decimal points (3 for ET's and 2 for MPH. Not trying to be anal, just trying to keep it consistent.

DarrylBleau
Yes I agree. xx.xxx for time and xxx.xx for speed. My time at 11.96 is correct as it was 11.960@116.11.

I also do really think it would be nice to have links to timeslips too but I understand that it might be difficult for people to do.

Pro Drag
Rob K: 12.258@116.91 4:30 PM, 10/10/04 Bud Park

matrix_xrs
Just scraped the Honda in under the line dude.

Adam @ Apex
Apex SRT

scooby_dooby
damn look at the honda's representin, 4 out of 10 including top spot :p to the haters lol

Inzane
And no RWD representation. :tear:

I guess some of us have our work cut out for ourselves next year.

Insomniac
so who wants to do the list next year?, i'm retiring

Anonymoose
Set some ground rules and make everyone agree and adhere to them and it shouldn't be anywhere near as difficult.
