I've been noticing lately that alot of places on the net that used to accept Canadians using Paypal, don't anymore.:dunno:
Anybody know why? Paypal is way too nice for us Ebay junkies:) |

I haven't noticed it but I'm not an avid eBayer
maybe it's because the Canadian dollar is strong against the US so PayPal makes less money off exchange rates????
sounds stupid but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case |

Nope. It wouldn't be that because Paypal charges x number of cents on top of whatever the exchange rate is, whether its 1.30 or 1.40, its still the same x number of cents on the dollar - relative to the bank and/or credit card's exchange rate, not a percentage. |

| some people just dont liek dealing with out of country paypal. i have almost been screwed out of alot of money on paypal because ppl from diffrent countries make fraud accounts or hack into ppls accounts and then once they are found out the money is reversed to the owners account and your left screwed out of your money and the item is allready in the mail. i am an ebay junkie to and it does suck when ppl dont accept paypal from canada. |

| I have only seen people not accepting paypal from out of country orders if your address isn't varified. I have never seen them just say won't accept out of country paypal. |
