whoa thats pretty sweet, only 150 bucks too? i wonder how it would work on a carborated engine...

Xx D-MAN xX
I'm interested to see the before and after dyno results.

98Luder
i'm going to try to test it on a skyline soon. That's the next dyno we got up...if i have time i'll test on my car tomorrow.

So, does that mean you've got your car up and running again?

Got it running? Which cams did you decide to go with? Not your crower I'm guessing.

Please post the dyno results for this on yours........ I am sceptical about this one.

Since it really only affects spark...... I am guessing the same. Cleaner/stronger spark in any engine will help a little...... you would see best gains on forced induction, race gas or NOS though.

98Luder
yea i'll see...
sorry all my Crower valvetrain, valve cover is sold now.
My engine is pretty stock.

i'll try to test today if possible.

Shady_Pro
how bout in conjunction with msd ignition....ne problems i wonder...i don't think it effects spark i think it effects the consistincy( can't spell) of the volt be sent out of your batter but correct me if im wrong:dunno:

I think you are right.... but along the lines of what I meant. Gives you a constant & steady voltage..... which then must improve the consistancy and possibly the intensity of the spark. That is the only real way that this could improve hp (if it actually does).

98Luder
i'm not sure what's in that box?
maybe some snails or something

i'm going for coffee break...when i come back..time to dyno.
:blue:

98Luder
no dyno for awhile...the car is in storage now :(

98Luder
eh......???
i'm still amzed...this thing makes no sense...
tha gains are well worth the dollar

Simply amazing
Sorry i didn't get to test it on my own car, but we tested it on a Turbo H22A w/9.5psi boost
red line = baseline run with voltage stabablizer off
blue line = run with voltage stabalizer on
purple line = 2nd run with voltage stabalizer on (2nd run just to reconfirm)

Check out the gains in the midrange
25.9wheel torque gain @ 4500rpm
and 24wheel hp gain @ 5000rpm

Peak power gains
22.3wheel torque gain
11wheel hp gain

Totally amazing man....

Xx D-MAN xX
I think I'm going to have to get one of these...

kellyk75
Sounds really appealing....... but how would it run on an almost stock N/A 5th gen? Do you think there would be any adverse effects on the electrical system? This really sounds like my kind of mod...... and too good to be true.

If any of you guys decide to buy this, can you post what your butt dyno says? My car is winterized so I won't put it on until spring.

98Luder
NA setup of course will be less....

You know what the funny thing is with this mod, you can put it on any car...cause it's just one pos, one neg that's it.

Put it on your mom's caravan or your winter beater and feel the differences.....hehe...funny sh1t

redmethods
it seens to good to be true. if it make that good of HP, you think you would see it on some of the high HP tuner car (supra, DSM etc..)

Turbo H22A w/9.5psi boost only making 191hp (was the car even tuned or did you just put this thing on & dyno it again???
And it make 25.9wheel torque gain @ 4500rpm
and 24wheel hp gain @ 5000rpm

Peak power gains
22.3wheel torque gain
11wheel hp gain

not bad i guess, I should just keep my prelude & put this thing on, instad of getting a supra

98Luder
believe me, i wouldn't believe it if i didn't see it in front of my eyes, i also had 4 other witnesses, seriously incredible.

Heh, pinch me....this is the easiest way to make hp i have ever seen? press "on" for power.

IDTrav
hey james ive got some nonbelievers :dunno:

"why is that turbo prelude making LESS than 200whp? and, unless i'm reading it wrong, making more torque than hp? "

they say thats fishy haha

92_WhItE_H23
its only running 9 lbs i think that would be why

Copper
Dam!

I think I see my next coupel mods (besides my endless quest for rims for my car)

I'm thinkin a new ECU, I've heard many good things about Hondata, and this T1R Volt Equalizer, then I can get her all tuned up and see what kind a numbers my car would pull

(FYI: my car is a 1994 Prelude SR-V, only mods are cold air intake and cat back exaust)

Might be a good time to look at a high flow res or CAT to quiet her down a little to, but I would likely do all this come spring, but knowing how much I need to have in cash ready would be a good heads up...James, anything you can give me for quotes fo rthe above mentioned? feel free to pm me or email festboyextreeme@hotmail.com

The numbers in the boxes don't correspond to the peak power output, they are the numbers obtained at specific RPM ie. 4535 and 5031

From the graph, the peak HP = 276 and the TQ = 213

9.5 PSI regaurdless should make over 200, even the Greddy bolt on turbo at 7psi makes 220 hp.

IDTrav
coo, thanks for clearing that up 1_bar :)

my car made more thwn that with 6psi untunned
i think buh buh is making around 260- 280hp with 9psi (i think)

I picked mine up last weekend and installed it within like 5 min's.

I don't like the locations it's in but if it works, who cares...

mike3
which color did you get Darcy?

So, does it work well? :)

Xx D-MAN xX
I got the silver one.

I have no idea if if works since my car is stored. I'll have to wait until spring when I take the car out of storage. I'll be re-dynoing my car so we can test it and see the gains...

Ah, gotcha...damn... :(

kellyk75
Up from tne dead. So, what did you think of it Darcy? Does it make a difference?

Just wondering if it is worth it? I have heard that it also helps to clean up audio quality........:dunno:

T2_05
the link isnt working...

kellyk75
The site is no more..... this is why
http://forums.780tuners.com/showthr...hlight=petuning

T2_05
is it just the same thing as the volt stabilizers on ebay??

littledan
depend on what brand. i just bought a greddy one we'll see how that works when i install. t1r is very reputable though i only pick up greddy for the price

whitebb6
this is all quite interesting. does anybody have any dyno charts for their cars showing gains?

damn cheap investment for hp gains. we should group buy an entire crate load.

buh_buh
I have my dyno chart somewhere, but no scanner. But I can vouch that this works, because it was my car that made those gains haha.
