Well guys, its time to put the car up for sale heres all the info.
1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II
Motor stuff:
- Rebuilt Large Streetported motor that has just under 45,xxx kms on it. Mostly highway mileage going from Vancouver or Calgary and back to Edmonton. Motor was rebuilt in December of 2003.
- Ported Wastegate
- Turbo is in very good shape. It was taken off and inspected.
- 89-91 Top Mount Intercooler
- 3" turbo back Racing Beat Exhaust (big HP gains from this system Racing Beat.com
- K&N Cone Intake
- Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump
- Modified ECU
- Racing Beat FCD
- Electric Rad. Fan
- For weight saving/horse power increasing reasons, the following have been removed: all A/C components, powersteering(was replaced with a manual steering rack)
The car dynoed at 232rwhp and 219rwtq but that was with a couple boost leaks and a leaking gasket between the exhaust manifold and turbo so i am positive it is more. Thats all fixed up now.

- Power Locks
- Power Sunroof
- Power Mirrors
- Factory Alarm
- Aftermarket alarm with power door locks
- Pioneer CD/MP3 deck
- Escort Passport 7500 Radar Detector
- Boost, A/F, Water Temp Gauges.
- Fuel Cut Swtich
- Hawk HP Brake Pads up Front(Brand New)
The car currently has 17" Arospeed Static wheels on the car with Kumho rubber. THe car will come with the stock 16" wheel also.
The car runs awesome starts every time, blows no smoke at all. Always changed the oil before the 5000kms were up, spark plugs were always changed regularily and never has it ever seen anything under 89 octane. I have never ran it on regular which is 87 octane. Only once in a while does it see 89 octane mostly its 91 or 92 octane.

| there is a thread about his wheels... I believe he'd consider selling them for $900-$1000 w/ rubber. They're 17'' and 5 bolt and w/ out a 5 lug conversion will not fit on your car. |

Yes it is the factory turbo still. The turbo was taken off a 2 months ago to replace a manifold gasket so it was inspected and found to be in great shape. The car put down 232rwhp and 219wtq, with boost leaks. The car has not been weighed so i can't give you an exact figure. Sorry man. |

My guess is that it is pretty close to 2850....3000 with driver.

ok i knwo this is a post of my own but on the topic of rx7's i a mlooking for a body for one that is automatic that still have the tranny and sterring system but the eninge can be wrecked if anyone knows of one with a half decent body (not rusted to shit or dinged to hell) please pm me.

I've been under this car doing most of the maintenance. I've dynoed it and replaced/fixed the vacuum boost leaks...its a tight car and is worht every penny. Compared to all the other turbo II's I've seen for some reason this one is just simply better and alot stronger. Tons of power.

chad if u can survive till march april u will easily get what u are asking for.. ppl tend to buy sport cars in the spring to summer time.
it is sad to se u letting it go though... u stil haven't taken me down yet.. but hopefully u will find some other way to get the money u need, so u can keep ur RX!! |
