Anybody play it yet?
Friend d/l the leaked french copy and we had a blast playing some of the new multiplayer modes.
Experiemented w/ the single player a bit but couldn't understand what they were saying, damn Frenchies. Graphics looked better, way better texturing then the first, but overall impressions is that it's more like a version 1.5 then a 2.0.
oh well, i'm still buying it when it's released Nov 9th.

What's the limited platinum edition have that the "reguarl" box won't? I just reserved a copy at Best Buy. There was no mention of a "special" box etc. |

finshed lvl 1 last night took me longer to get throught it about 1.5 hrs and .. hard part was figuring out where to go.. dual wield weapons little hard to get used to .. but if u throw a grenade u lose ur weapon...you can not carry two identical weapons.. (primary/secondary)
tried jacking vehicles but they jacked it back.. damn bastard.. it takes lil harder to kill elites and grunts they seem more aware of the grenades..
flying covenant totally cool.... and you play as convenat as well level 2.. wicked...get use the cloak and energy sword .. one hit wonder
anyways long weeked of HALO

omfg i don't know how you guys can play a game for so long haha..i lose my attention span
me and a buddy are playing co-op mode...but half the time we get bored and just end up killing eachother haha
i figure the graphics aren't much better than the first Halo..the game doesn't seem much better at all really. i think there was WAY too much hype about Halo 2's release. the only big differences are weapons, levels and dual wield...whoopdee doo ahahah

yeah after finshing coop mode on halo2 i must say too much hype and not enough return.. but the game bigest feature which i not even played with is mutiplayer and live i think the entire halo 2 was based mainly for mulitplayer gaming
the campaign was more story transition stage like you watch the ending cinematic and you know halo 3 is due to come out
me and my friend did it in like under 15 hrs.. we played the day it came out and then we played on sunday and it was done (we ran past most of teh enemies just so we could finsih faster)...we are like what.. so quik and the last part was not even hard...the brute got stuck in glitch and could not move or attack with 15 swipes of energy sword he was dead
i hate how i got lost in some levels not knowing where to go next |

I dunno, When things get heated and you start spinning around and shooting, like watching a damn slide show.
I mean, even the first Halo wasn't as bad, and it was actually better on the PC than on the Xbox.
Tie that with with the stupid "auto aim"
In terms of playability, I think the first one was way better, less plot holes in single player as well. |

Well, I compared it to the original, and Halo 2 seems to score more "hits" It's so much easier to kill things.
Halo CE 1 when you were not aiming at the baddies, man, you were NOT aiming at the baddies. Halo 2 seems to do alot of the aiming for me...
Not having alot of help is what made the game challenging right? :) |

all you guys that finished it in 15hours maybe you should try playing it on a real difficulty level.
This game is just like the first one, the real fun is playing on Legendary or Heroic, and trying to outsmart the AI, the AI is what sets this game apart from the rest
Halo 2 rocks, that's why it's already sold 3.3 million copies, over twice as much as the best ps2 game this year, i wasn't dissapointed at all challenging game, awesome graphics, good story(ending sucks), killer enemy AI, I'm not a FPS fan AT ALL, but Halo is just fun, I only stop playing cause I get stuck, never bored. |

I'm going through it right now on Easy and on Heroic. Easy so I can see what's coming up and heroic for the challenge. Yes I know I'm lame. |
