I bought these from NCIX.
Drive
Case
I have an older Laptop that doesn't have USB 2.0 so I have to use fire wire. It works great but after about 10 minutes I get a IO Error and drive is no longer there. If i'm in the middle of writing a file the data is lost:mad:
Anybody with any ideas? Thanks. |

| using a set up like that can be tricky, even though your laptop doesn't have usb2 you could still use the usb ports it will just be extremely slow. does the I/O error have an error code attached to it? plug the error code if there is one into google and see what you get back for results soemone else may have had the same issue and you can benefit from their experience. |
