droppedatbirth
k well i went to this house party that got busted up....i was actullay passed out when the cops came and they busted me cause i was the only one left.....and when i was sitting in the cop car driving to the station i poked my head out and called the cops "some fucking bloody useless pigs" and the cop in the passenger seat put me in a headlock and used his fist on my face to show police authority....what should i do about it? i have picture to prove everthing....

TRoY
you called the cop a useless fucking pig and your mad he punched you in the face?

TrevorK
You were drunk enough that you were passed out - and I'd assume that means that no one would believe you over the cop who was sober.

smooooooth move, i'd be fine if they went rodney king on yer ass...
suck it up d00d, you're in the wrong here, i don't care what they did to you.

I'm sure others will agree.

And hang on a sec, there's a cage seperating the prisoner, in the back (you), from both cops in the front... how did he reach through there to give you the said headlock and fist.

btw, if you could post that pic for some "owned" Photochopping that'd be super ;)

Oh and in answer to yer question, and i suppose it's only fair i do.
You could file a complaint for police brutality, and he could get suspended or whatever.
And if, in fact, you do... and he does... i sincerely hope MY car does not get vandalized by some drunk on white ave because there weren't enough officers patrolling the beat, as it were.

Praylewd powr
Lucky they didn't taser your ass!

energie
show us the pic!!

sorry but as you've only posted 23 times, you don't qualify for any sympathy. Try back after you've reached 1000 posts, then somebody might play you the world's smallest violin.
Let's see... drunk, belligerent.... oh yeah any judge would take your side. lol suck it up.

I feel for you man, cops tend to be on some kind of power trip sometimes. I think that they have to learn to control their tempers sometimes, after all thats the job they signed up for, always dealing with drunks and criminals. I had a cop steal 700 bucks out of my wallet one time and there wasn't much I could do about it. If I were you I would charge the cop and sew the police force.

im not looking for something like that though...i know i was drunk and being stupid...but like im still spitting blood and my bottom lip is just huge...i guess the biggest piss off is that im talking with a bad slur and for work i have to talk to a computer all day and if it doesn't reconize my voice i can't do my job

Your were being stupid
Suck it up. It would have been a lot worse if it were a regular person.:p

droppedatbirth,

You got what you deserved!! MOST cops won't just 'give' a drunk in public ticket to a drunk person....MOST only give it because the 'drunkEE' is being a fucking idiot!! Then on the way back to the police station you stick your head between the seats and yell at the cops......hmmm, after (probably) repeated attempts to verbally ask/tell you to sit back, which you didn't and not knowing if you had any bodily fluid diseases and fearing that you may assault them by spitting or headbutting them, the constable in the passengers seat made sure that his and his partners officer safety was NOT at risk and dealt with the very intoxicated, beligerant male subject with appropriate force, thus making him comply and no longer a threat to the officers in the marked police vehicle.

you got :owned:

oh yeah - and you ARE lucky they didn't TASER you!!

Actually a police officer has no legal right to touch you for insulting a police officer. They can lose their job for this.

However, unless there were witnesses, good luck proving it, its a drunken mans word against a Police Officer...

When it comes to police, you can't win. Then again you probably deserved it, learn where your drinking limit is your not in High school anymore time to grow up a bit.

You guys are assoles. So the guy is passed out(that means sleeping) and the cops wake him up to take him to jail. If I was in the middle of a drunken sleep and cops woke me up to take me to the tank I would tell them to go fuck themselves too. What good are they doing by waking someone up? Sounds like bullshit to me. Unless they knew for a fact he was causing a problem earlier and got a complaint about him specifically.

Either there's more to the story and he deserved to go or they never should have put him in the car in the first place.

redbaron303
You got drunk and passed out.... deal with the consequences from your actions.

Maybe the cops should have left you alone since you were passed out, but once they brought you to - you don't have the right to yell @ them and call them pigs - you played your cards and lost - it could have been worse.

If you want the charge dropped for the drunk in public ticket or whatever, talk to the crown prosecutor at the edmonton law courts (assuming you got the ticket in Edmonton).

Maybe the owners didn't want him there? Maybe it was reported to the police? Maybe the police were protecting him more than punishing him? mmmm Cops were doing their job. Guy started saying stupid shit and being an ass. He deserved what he got in my opinion.

If you where drunk at a house party........how did you get a drunk in a public place ticket???

And im pretty sure unless the owner of the home wanted everyone out the police couldnt just go in and grab you and haul you out.

thats funny what the cop did was wrong doesnt matter what you say to them they can not use that as an reason to hit you. its a hard thing to prove in court unless you have an actual video or picture of them hitting you. but this just adds to the reason why i dont like cops or will ever help one.

anyone has a right to say whatever they want to cops. they dont "own" us

and if i got drunk and passed out, i wouldnt be expecting any consequences :dunno:

redbaron303
You have the right to say stuff to them. You do not have the right to verbally harass them (ie: call them PIGS).... Take it how you will, maybe some don't consider taunting police with threats and stupid name calling harassment but I'm sure if they came to your work place and did something similar to you, you'd be offended and consider yourself harassed. Anyways - if I'm wrong I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

Wow, you must have been 'dropped at birth'.

I think Steve summed everything up the best. You put yourself in a situation where you became an officer safety risk. When you start yelling between seats and spitting saliva all over the place (which is what drunks do when they talk...) you put the officers at risk of fluid exposure, which is a huge concern for ALL officers. The last thing they need to orry about is your beligerant ass contaminating them.

Also, aside from the whole story here...

Do you have no shame at all in the fact that this happened to you? Personally, I would be embarrased.

I totally agree Curtis. I mean, we've done some stupid shit in our drunken hazes but this guy takes the Darwin award. To top of hes mad the cop beat his ass, you should be happy dumbass, maybe he knocked some sense into you.

HAHAHA
Agreed!!!!

scooby_dooby
wow, i didn't realize we had som many damn saints on this board. I'm sure no-one here has ever passed out at a party, so he called them pigs...so?

Are they 12 years old? gotta beat someone up cause they got called a name? does ANYONE expect a certain degree of MATURITY on the officers side? doesn't seem like it.

I can't believe some of these posts, you can say whatever the hell you want to a cop it doesn't give them some right to punch you in the fuckin head.

I mean seriously, cops are constantly talking down to people, callin them names, making the stupidest fuckin comments but GOD FORBID they get insulted and their little ego's hurt,

and i don't mean to say all cops, there's tons of good guys on the force, but it's not as if most cops are polite individuals, most of em are rude and arrogant, it's a 2-way street.

To answer your question, you can't do anything, and you really lucky they didn't just pull over and beat the shit out of you and drop you off, I've been there, it happens, so what happened sucks but it coulda been worse.

next time realize there's no magical force stopping them from doin whatvere they want, you're dealing with egomaniacs, and if you're alone, with no witnesses, they very well might beat the shit out of you a leave you in the street, it happens all the time, so next time be smarter,

Yeah, we wouldn't want to risk them getting sneezed on. Much better to break his nose and get blood all over their
hands.

Everyone seems to forget that there are really only 3 people who know exactly what happened: 2 police officers & 1 civilian. We have heard one side of the story only & I for one am not going to jump to conclusions on one person's interpretation of an incident.

The police car I drive has a video camera used for driving violations as well as recording the interaction between the police officer & the public. It is amazing how many people make complaints against members only to drop them when they hear / see the tape that shows a totally different scenario than what they describe. According to some clients every other word out of my mouth was f_ _k this & f_ _k that when in reality the video shows it was more like yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir (oh & I have yet to ever get an apology from any client who has accused me of anything the tape has later shown as being false).

Just my 2 bits.

Isnt that the truth, I was always told there is 3 sides to a story....your side, my side and the truth. I have had that lots of times when I was a bouncer. You throw someone out of the bar for being a drucken idiot and they come back the next day saying 10 bouncers jumped him and beat him senseless and stole his wallet. We had one guy say we threw him out the window out of the bar. When the cops got their they say the real story. the glass was broken to the inside of the building (he jusmped threw the window trying to get back in) and the cops asked him......so they threw you threw the window into the bar????

But in the police's case.......cameras dont lie

And albertarc I got a kick out of you calling the people in the back of your cruiser "client"..............:D

Lakerfan32
I cannot believe the ignorance of some of the responses that I've read about this situation. Under NO circumstances can anyone assault someone else for calling them a name no matter how "bad" the insult is. If someone came to my work and called me an asshole, I have no right to hit them. I think it's even worse that a cop, who is in a position of power and authority, to react in this way. If the police were in danger from this drunk guy, there are many other ways of restraining the drunk person than by hitting them, and no, using a taser is not one of them.

HEWSINATOR
Lets think about credibility though. I know all cops are not the best, but I trust most are.

I actually though once was tackled by a cop at my school in the parking lot. I was just walking to my car from class, and bam. The cop was way out of line in my opinion. He said I fit the description of somebody with a bat (while he was choking me against my car). When I asked how, he said I had a hat on, like the suspect.

I never si anything about it, in retrospect I wish I did. I can only imagine that good police officers want these guys to be outed too.
