well i jus DL'd the pc demo....not much has changed since the first one.
First off the graphics are sub par and still shiny as ever. There is also weather change when ur free roaming and when it starts to rain little droplets appear on your screen which is pretty cool. Other than that it is pretty much the same as last year in the graphics department.
Secondly they have new gameplay modes outrun, circuit, free roam and a new and improved drift mode(not really improved). Outrun mode is cool for the most part but the AI really sucks and will mess up more than you do(go figure). curcuit is the same as last year. the free roam system is there and its identical to that of SRS. lastly the drift mode not on a set track any more it supposed to be like initial d with downhill courses but it fails and still have crappy drift physics.
so thats basically what i thought of the game other notes are:
-More accurate Sounds
-some bump mapping on the roads
-music is actually not bad this year with chingy and snoop
so overall i wud give the demo a 8/10 |
