yes. This is what was available for a cheap price. BTW I am selling the car because of it... what else can I answer for you?

92_WhItE_H23
what happened to your other engine? dont you have warranty , shoulda covered a blown engine

just seems useless to even bother putting an engine in might as well just sell it as a shell

I spun a bearing. They said I raced..that's why it happened. Word of advice..unless your buying a family car..don't even bother with extended warranty because car makers don't even cover the standard warranty never mind the extended warranty. Unless..no just a shell I would of got maybe 10 grand for it...with even this engine in it I can trade it in for market value

Is the old engine all together? or what parts do you have off of it?

no..top was in perfect condition..and sold. All i have left is a 5speed tranny and the bottom end which will need to be resleeved.

92_WhItE_H23
warranty should have covered it. I had a friend who blew his engine racing and they rebuilt it in factory under warranty. (prelude)

92_WhItE_H23
you dont buy a sports car and not expect to drive it like one...the factory knows better then that...just because you took it to the track i dont see why that should void your warranty. unless you had modifications that voided ur warranty

I agree:mad: I only had a HDSS clutch and the car was lowered..that justified that I was racing..as per the dealership..he told me HIGH rpms ar ethe only thing that will cause a spun bearing..Honda canada told me it's either heat or oil starvation..which it must of been low oil..as the engine was eating it like it was going out of style ..I just didn't have the will power to fight any longer..this belive it or not was the easier route..even though i feel like drinking every other day:lol:

92_WhItE_H23
you take the car back to them and you say it has a 7k rpm redline for a god damn reason. you dont boast a high redline and peak performance at high RPM if you dont want your customer to get there...thats bs you are getting tooled around by honda i honestly would fight to the death on that one because you will win in the end provided u had no warranty voiding modifications

there is a total of about 45,000 km's on them. they are about 2.5 years old. They are in perfect shape and are still perfect, performance wise. You do know that these are totally rebuildable by tein whenever you send them in?

HKSpowers
I had no idea that Tein rebuilds them.

must cost an arm and a leg though.

Well im considering them. Well see in the next couple of days here.
