okay so i bought a 99 lude near the last month of summer.
now im having some electrical problems with it and its really starting to drive me nuts.
so heres the problem if anyone can help.
a few weeks ago my gauges started to flicker,then one day they went off for about a minute and then came back on.since then they flickered a couple more time then just last thursday they went out completely along with my tail lights and side markers on my bumper. they wont come back on at all now i cant seem to figure out what the problem is,i checked fuses,disconnected the battery and connected it again. taken the gauge cluster out and checked wiring but nothing will make them come back on. so until i get it fixed i cant drive anywhere at night for fear of getting a ticket. just a quik note too. on my gauges only the lights have gone out, the needles still move and all the indicator lights work.
i was going to take it to honda tomorrow ,but i wanted to see if anyone knows whats wrong . |

Deffinietly a couple relays are shot which ones im not sure. Likley your lighting relay in your fuse pannel under your hood is shot. Park light relay's shot that should be under the dash.
Either its your relays or you have a serious grounding problems. Going to HOnda is quite expensive.
I would be willing to look at your car for you this weekend as i work outta town for most of the week.
Do your head lights/DRL also work? |

yeah the headlights work and drl works. just nothing else. if you would like to take the time that would be better than spending a ton of money at honda. i was going to find a diagram of the all the ground wires and try to find out if it was the ground wires myself. but yeah if you wanna give me a hand this weekend then sure . call my cell or pm me. i probably wont get around to checking the pm for a while though.

| so i got my lighting problem fixed for now,it was my fuse box ,some how i fried it. so its jimmy riged through another fuse right now til i can get the money to get it fixed. |
