Mekanik22
Anybody else there when it happened? It was like 20 mins. before I got to go home and some fuckin loser calls in a bomb threat and the whole school had to wait outside for an hour. Then this rent-a-cop is telling us to go to Kingsway but we all just stood there anyway. Fuck people are stupid sometimes....

maxpayne126
i was there. stood outside for like 70min, then deceided to go through kingsway to the bus station to get home. everyone was told to be 50ft away from all buildings but i was by the multi-floor garage

Mekanik22
Yeah, that sucked. I waited by Arby's. But outside because inside was jam packed with people. Bastards....

I doubt that fun unless you know this in advance or you're the one made a threatening phone call:D

95IntegraRS
I was skipping at the time the first one was called in, showed up for 10 minutes, the next threat was called in, went home.

ChromeDragon
Man, if I knew so many people would be upset about it I wouldn't have called it in. I'm so sorry everyone, I've seen the err of my ways.

Next time I'll just blow the fucker without warning.

When we were told to go to the mall, our entire department went to Shades (The bar at smitty's). I know on the way out, Sears was getting bitchy cause they had staff going around asking people to leave the store.

Then at 3:30, we were told if we could get to our cars to go home.

Well I finally got the story. Some guy from Welding got kicked out of the school. When he asked for a refund, the school refused. So he went HOME, not a pay phone where his CALLER I.D. DOESN'T COME UP, but went HOME and called in the bomb threat. Needless to say this was one dumb "criminal" who now has to take it royally up the ass because he's so stupid.

No one ever accused a Welder of being smart.

I was in a class when the first alarm went off, had to wait outside for about 10min. After that I just went home and missed my last class, then I got a call from one of my buddies while driving home saying that they only got through about 15min before another alarm went off.

My instructor told me a different story today. Told us that someone pulled the fire alarm in the third floor of the business tower, then someone called in with a cell-phone and said that the first alarm was real, and that it was a bomb threat, then an instructor pulled the alarm.

Just the side I heard.

I can verify that the for the first fire alarm the one on the third floor was pulled.

As I walked right by it on my way down from my office on the third floor, I saw it pulled.

I have no idea about the second - and none of the staff I talked to today have any idea about it either (Which is why I think any stories of what the bomb threat was about are pretty much rumours).

3gec
That's like some guy is like "what happened at school yesterday" I am like guy cause I was there right in the middle of it all when it happened. Last thign I am gonna do is starting talking bout something I have no clue bout. That is why the half the stuff peeps on here say I am like whatever I don't care.

Bomb scare clears NAIT building [Nov 4 Edmonton]--Hundreds of NAIT students and employees were forced to evacuate a building Wednesday, after a bomb scare. Police say about 2:30 p.m. someone called the parking office with a bomb threat, which led to the main road through the campus being closed. An explosives-sniffing dog was used, and police determined the call was a hoax. However, fire Capt. Jim Galellis says despite the fact the bomb wasn't real, those leaving the building didn't know that and didn't take the situation seriously enough. "This day and age we really can't afford to treat these sorts of things casually," he said. "I'm going to talk with security at NAIT and we're going to have a talk and see if we can get this a little bit more organized."...CBC News

OH yea, BULLSHIT was there any investagation of police dog sniffing. I got my car halfawy during the evacuation and didnt see anynthing near the builing other than a few students standing around.

Did you see how many cops care were there? I counted 5 at one point before I left for the mall, along with more than 5 emergancy response vehicles.

Who said the bomb was in the parkade?

I would guess that's just a rumour - since they didn't block off any part of the parkade.

That, and they wouldn't have evacuated the entire campus for a building that far away. In the past they never have.

Yeah I am. I'm in class V202 or something like that in the afternoons. I came out to the meets in the cavy, but I'm not driving that piece of shit anymore. I'm driving my 1991 Passat. Next time you see me, say hi or something.

Actually no.

We're in the place with the best scenery - the business tower, third floor.

The guys in the HP centre are the lab support guys for programs like CST, Telecom, etc...
