repost! but still impressive none the less! i was saving up a bit more to buy a s14a from the states but lately the mr2 is starting to make me drool:drool: i might have to drift to the darkside of toyota power

energie
holy moly:eek:

blown_mr2
It's aight!!

He still can't run with my mighty CT26 though!!

SketchifisT
if he didn;t downshift thats just unreal lol

se-i
now thats impressive down shift or not

stealth
i researched more im told he may have double clutched in the same gear just to get the revs high.

But ya that car is insane!!!!!

droppedatbirth
that is just straight crazy. we need to find more videos of this car

dmak_el

nice!!!:blue:

SRBURG13
Sounds like he downshifted to me.

And wow, lots of absolutely useless horsepower there. He throws it to the other side of the track almost everytime, maybe he should let someone else drive.

dance_of_curse
i dont think he made the car any more ridgid cause on the mods list i cant see any sort of suspension parts or like stablizers

SketchifisT
that is just sad, like flyin all over the track. If he hasn;t done any suspension he is so stupid

ChromeDragon
Have they ever gotten a clean pass in the car?:dunno:

Mavrick
Ouch. Way to rev it 'til it bounces and dump the clutch.

It does look quick, but he needs somebody to teach him to drive it, before he wrecks it. A tachometer is put into a car so that you can understand where the powerband is! Try using that, instead of the rev limiter.

Chromey: his site has a video of him apparently running an 11:06 or so? I couldn't read the clock, so I'm just believing that the camera guy was telling the truth.

SketchifisT
Yeah out of all of em his runs 1 clean run , either way if i ever went to the track i would never line up next to him just stupid, so far at least from his videos its less then a 25% chance that he will keep it in a straight line. Seems exactly like that black mr2 that lost control and blew up into that jetta? Lots of bad mr2 drivers or are they all around kinda hard to control? or both ?

stealth
if you have driven an mr2 u know its hard to control.

personally mine with the old NA engine, in the rain my bank end would come loose really bad if i launched from a stop.

It would go left to right left to right.

But in dry conditions it would go straight or slightly move to one side.

I am guessing he needs way better tires/ really wide rear rims.

Because there are 700-800RWHP mr2's that im sure are fine.

SketchifisT
Oh hwell thanks ive never driven a mr2 and dont know much about it. but yeah u figure he would have learned how to control it? but whatevs thx for the respond

stealth
ha np.

but what i dont get is why when he is half way down the track does he switch lanes? i didnt think he would loose that much control when already in motion.

SketchifisT
My only guess is over correction, he may have lost traction for a second then when he gained it he corrected? i dont know either way i would chalk it up to drivers fault
