ok, I'm going to be ordering my supercharger right away here and I need to figure out a few things... so i have some questions..

the supercharger is 3780(USD) with the 9spi upgrade pulley.

since the webpage doesnt calculate the tax or exchange or the shipping, I thought I would ask you guys what kind of prices I'm going to be looking at.

any reply's would be appreciated..thanks.

iam pretty sure if you go to fedex or a shipping companys web sight they migth be able to quote you for shipping and dudy :).
just make sure NOT to use UPS thei will rape you with stupid charges and crap.

REFLUX
13% is what I have averaged with my many purchases from the states.

for such an expensive item, it may be cheaper to have it sent overnight and it bypasses customs

look into it though

Supercharger = :bthumbup:

I request USPS whenever possible. The most I've ever payed in charges is GST + $5.

All the tims i bought shit from the states i get it through UPS.

The first time i got raped on duty.

The second time i got it sent as a gift and it was duty free!

If you wanna convert i find www.xe.com for best currency updates and such.

DomesticDrifter
as of today, the canadian dollar is worth 0.82 usd

exactly thats why when i buy my parts i use pay pal.

And i dont use them to convert because if i use xe, i get more money out of my dollar, and just send it in canadian funds.

You can get your money converted at the bank and pay them US funds. The bank has to give the current rates.

The bank will never give you the current rate.

The rate at the moment is .8375

Good luck getting that at the bank. ;)

ugh actually if you go to the bank, they'll give you that exact rate. it was 82c yesterday, i look at the usd exchange rate every day at work and the bank gives you the closing balance of the previous day because it would be impossible to monitor and change the rate every 10min to give you the current rate.

SilverZ24
The bank updates their rates every 15 minutes or so. If they give you a rate, you have to buy within 15 minutes (approx) or you will get a new rate.

Otherwise it would be great if the dollar dropped 5 cents today but I knew I could still go in and get yesterday's rate.
