Bush = Hitler? - Click HERE for Original Thread

REFLUX
I was talking to a friend of mine who was telling me that there are many things Bush & Hitler have in common....anyone heard of this?

This is what I heard:
-Hitler created terror in his own country by burning his own government building down....Bush = organized & setup 9/11

-Hitler took over the rights of his citizens and Bush has put in the Patriot Act

Comments? Criticisms?

One last conspiracy theory bit...about whether or not the USA put a man on the moon....
When the American flag was shown staked into the surface of the moon, was the flag WAVING??? As if it was being blown by WIND???

dance_of_curse
ive seen a tv show on the "wind" thing and it explains that its not. my mom said bush is hitler this morning...or yesterday....many similarities...i wonder if bush will kil him self at the end of this term of his presidency?.....lol:p

Not Hitler, but a good start.

Casanova
I have done alot of research into the methods of Hitler and Nazi Germany in their manipulation of their own people and the world.

There are many similarities, such as propaganda, scapegoating, nationalism, fear-mongering, censorship among many others. These methods can be taken directly out of a grade 10 social studies textbook, Americans don't generally study this in school, they are taught about how great and lucky they are.

I think above all else Bush is not like Hitler in the way that

Hitler was charasmatic, Bush is not, Hitler was an amazingly moving speaker, Bush has the speaking skills of a 5 year old, other world leaders feared him because they knew how intelligent and devious he was, world leaders are afraid of Bush because he is a mentally challenged bull in a glass shop.

Plus the internet has done wonders to open peoples eyes and spur a whole generation of online activists.

Z32NUT
Only thing Bush has manged to miss is the attempt at extermination of a whole race. But hey...he's still got 4 years.

Casanova
He has the beginning steps, scapegoating etc..

are you a fucking moron like honestly your right bush planed crashing the fucking planes into the wtc fuck ok what would you do if you the leader of the most powerful country in the world and one day while your talking at a school an agent comes up to you and tells you that someone has crashed planes into the world trade center buildings. hes doing the best he can to prevent something like this from happening again terrorism is not something that you can see and shoot and kill you have to go to the source and the middle east is the source wither we like it or not. there is no other way than what they are doing so live with it these terrorists don’t care about there own lives so they will gladly give them up to kill i value my life and i would never use my life to kill other people I don’t think any of us would. The 3000 people that died in 9/11 did not deserve to die. In addition, talking about them like that is just pure shit man. And how the fuck did bush organize this attack like, honestly that’s the most narrow minded thing I have ever heard anyone say and I would not expect it to come from you reflux

Mexx:

First of all, may I suggest you READ my post instead of skimming it.
I said my friend was talking to me about the subject and those points were what I HEARD. Not what I believe in nor conjured up.

The very fact that I came up with this thread shows that I have quite an open mind to stimulating thoughts & ideas. This thread is to generate thought and discussion, not to make a statement or to disrespect anything/anyone.

So I think you should calm down, re-read my post, understand that in NO WAY does my first post say ANYTHING about my own beliefs/ideas regarding 9/11 and is quite neutral. You are FAR from any position to respond in this thread in the above manner.

This is a mature and good natured discussion, you would do yourself some good to act likewise.

bush organizes and setup 9 /11 you comparing that to an actual event that hitler did by burning down is own building. therefor you are saying bush organized and setup 9/11

9/11 being the destroction of the wtc and the loss of 3000 lives

Casanova
1) You lose all credibility when you can't spell.
2) You, in fact, come across as the narrowminded one, as you are not open to consider Bush orchestrating 9/11 as a theory.
3) Discussion of the theories surrounding 9/11 in no way makes any reference towards the victims in the towers or their deaths.
4) If the theory is indeed correct, then comparing Hitlers actions in burning a building is quite relevant.

MeXx
humm when someone mentions 9/11 i think of planes crashing into the wtc im sure 99% of people do the result of toughs planes crashing into the wtc were the deaths of 3000 people.

and he didnt say the theory of 9 11 it is a proven fact that hitler burned down is own government buildings.

Dude, the Iragi's weren't responsible for 9/11, nor were they ever affiliated with terrorism. He went after Irag because of the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" that they never found, and now they're taking the oil, or will be soon.

The terrorists are the Taliban/Al Quata (sp) which are in Afganistan, which owns about 8% of the USA, which means that the USA won't attack them, because the American economy would hit the floor. Irag has nothing to do with 9/11. In fact, Bush had more to do with 9/11 than anyone. He knew it was going to happen like that court shit thats going on right now, when he was told that planes hit the buildings, he just sat there and did nothing, while reading childrens books (or trying to) to children, and the USA handed over weapons to the Taliban to fight other people, funded them, and flew the whole family and anyone related to them out of the USA the day it happened. Go figure.

So before you freak out on someone that was just trying to stimulate some conversation about something that he HEARD, read a little more in depth and know what you're talking about.

Bush is the prime candidate for Narrow mindedness.

Afganistan terrorists attack USA, so lets go attack Iraq, blame it on them, and then use that as an excuse to take the oil reserves there.

Oh yeah, did I mention that the reason that USA attacked Iraq was to rid them of the Weapons of Mass Destruction, which were never even there, and killed more people than 9/11, not even including the innocent soliders he put in harms way? Who is the terrorist?

i didnt say iraq i said middle east. what was he suposed to do freek all these little kids out by running out of the room. he left as soon as he could like 2 min after he was told they grounded all the planes and no other attacks happened after he was told.

Middle east? Boy that narrows it down. Lets go after the Middle East, we'll surely find the terrorists there. Heck, lets go after the one with the most oil and make it profitable while we're at it, just incase we don't find them. Which they didn't.

Wow, we wouldn't want to scare some kids in a classroom. Yes, he should have freaked them out, cause his job is to get his ass to the office and do some work, instead of taking 900 holidays in a year, and reading childrens books, especially since he knew this was going to happen any day.

But anyway, this topic is a little off what Terry wanted.

98 teg
My 2 bits on theory of bush having his hands in this theory would make sence and I personally would not be surprised if he was more involved with 9/11.. why not set it up crash a couple of planes have the nation to support you and bomb the shit out of one country and find nothing but set up a base and invade another country in the name of terrorism.. seriously whats to stop bush from invading Iran or Saudi Arabia...

But you've got to consider who Bush's target audience is. I would say that when that is brought into the equation, he is an extremely charasmatic figure and a very moving speaker. We may think he's an idiot, but they see him as something much different.

And remember, the majority of people are not online, and even those who do have access to the information choose not to look.

IMO 911 has far too many questions associated with it for us to blindly accept what they tell us (especially since their info has been proven to be completely false in a number of cases already). It would appear to be simply the latest incarnation of the Gulf of Tonkin. :(

Casanova
Do you really think that the Americans view him as a charismatic speaker? That is just ... baffling.

and I think Mexx needs to do research before he starts trying to disprove something.

Do not underestimate the sneakiness of GWB and crew. The guy that he's tapped to replace Ashcroft as their attorney general is the guy who wrote of the rationalization of the prisoner torture and he's also got a history with helping halliburton out of lawsuits.

Very sneaky.

copy and paste:

In fact, several disturbing analogies exist between George W. Bush and history's most infamous fascist, Adolph Hitler:

- Both men assumed power in defiance of the will of the majority;

- both men used "great lies" to pursue their warmongering agendas;

- both men preyed upon humanity's basest instincts to disseminate those "great lies";

- both men were appeased by the British government, Hitler through Neville Chamberlain and Bush through Tony Blair;

- both men were willing to use national tragedies to justify the destruction of civil liberties, Hitler through the burning of the Reichstag and Bush through the September 11th terrorist attacks;

- both men were/are suspected of either participating in, or ignoring warnings about the imminence of, these tragedies in order to enhance their political stature and power;

- both men [exploit(ed)] a culture of death for political self-aggrandizement, Hitler through his well-publicized genocide campaigns, and Bush who, while governor of Texas, routinely denied DNA tests to death row inmates, even though such tests could prevent wrongful executions;

- both men were willing to appeal to racism, Hitler through his quest for a "master race," and Bush through his condemnation of affirmative action policies, which primarily benefit racial minorities.

- both men reveled in war and exploited the military to satiate their personal ambitions and vendettas;

- both men used war to enrich their political cronies;

- both men demonstrated contempt for international law and the concerns of the world community;

- and both men believed they were/are on some holy crusade inspired by a "divine province" that placed them into power.

MeXX you are real ignorant to say the Middle East is the source of terrorism.

So are you saying bombers killing Israeli soldiers is terrorism, but Isreaeli soldiers killing Arabs is not? or is it the other way around? Clarify.

Thats what im getting from you. That Arabs are the terrorists. THat is such a stupid generalization.

because there are many terrorists all over the damn world.

REFLUX i do have some consipracy theories, and i wouldnt doubt if bush was involved.

As pointed out by various other users, you are off your rocker on this topic.

If you cannot wrap your mind around the concept that I was not disrespecting the victims of 9/11 & that the various accusations you made about me were/are false, that is your problem. I am not arguing about this with you.

Stealth: let's hear your theories :D

scooby: nice list!

the one thing I don't draw from the Hitler = Bush theory is that Bush only has 4 more years...how long did Hitler have? I wonder how much more can Bush do in his last term...

scooby_dooby
REFLUX, one of the keys to controlling a nation is to tell the people they are under attack, and denounce pacifists as "un-patriotic", or so said goebbels, it's the same thing as soon as anyone starts talking about the motives of the Bush gov. people claim you're insulting the meories of the 9/11 victims, which obviously you aren't, just as you are not unpatriotic simply because you don't agree in going to war.

that last quote was from the editor of PRAVDA, russian newspaper, here's a really good one from an editor in Uraguay:

________________________________________

The matter at hand is the comparison between Adolf Hitler and George Bush.

There are obvious differences. The first being that the war criminal, the murderer of the Jewish and Soviet peoples, won a resounding victory in the German elections, while the war criminal and murderer of the Iraqi people reached power fraudulently, in the biggest electoral scandal in US history.

From the theoretical point of view, the comparison between Bush and Hitler is correct. The scientists have described Nazism as a terrorist dictatorship of corporate expansionism. Bush, by putting himself beyond the law and invading a defenceless nation which it had not attacked in order to take over its oil wealth, the second largest on the planet, and then stating that other oil-producing nations will follow, comes close to the definition of a corporate terrorist dictatorship. Even though he may not like to admit it.
George Bush is a Nazi in his genes. ...

...because, you know, Nazism's genetic...

...The American Burning of the Reichstag of September 11 gave George Bush the chance of a lifetime. The worst electoral victory of a US president since 1876 had turned into the best historical opportunity for a warmonger to impose a new US order on the world.

As in Hitler's case, the first thing he did was to surround himself with a clique of con artists such as himself, men obsessed with the intimidating power of force. ...

------------------------------------------------

scooby_dooby
Lately we're being told that it's either (a) inappropriate or (b) untrue to refer to Bush's illegitimate junta as Nazi, neo-Nazi or neofascist. Because, you know, you're not necessarily a Nazi just because you seize power like one, take advantage of a national Reichstag Fire-like tragedy like one, build concentration and death camps like one, start unprovoked wars like one, Red-bait your liberal opponents like one or create a national security apparatus that behaves like something a Nazi would create and even has a Nazi-sounding name. All of those people who see a little Adolf in the not-so-bright eyes of America's homeland-grown despot are just imagining things.

Me, I'm catching it for this week's cartoon for daring to suggest that, well--you know.

Of course, there are differences. Hitler, for example, was legally elected. And he had a plan--not one that I like, but a plan--for the period after the war.

I'll be happy to stop comparing Bush to Hitler when he stops acting like him.

why don't you USE your critical thinking apparatus and realize this isn't some hollywood movie with "good guys" and "bad guys", i'll be waiting to hear a well thought out argument on why these comparisons do not apply...and it better not be "Well we're the good guys..."

95IntegraRS
I'm sort of leaning towards Bush using the 9/11 incident as a means to begin his "crusade". I mean, realistically, George Bush is a product of Saudi-Arabian Shikhs. (I believe thats what you'd call the royals). And if someone takes care of you your whole life, they are gonna want some return on their investment.

I think the original plan was to invade Iraq but capitalizing on the events of 9-11 just made it easier. Taking hold of one of the largest oil reserves in the world would make George Bush's Saudi buddies pretty happy.

What would be the point of debating the points of this topic with people ridiculous enough to think the President of the United States is the second coming of Hitler.

The basis of the Nazi party was Ultra nationalism. Just take a look at every enthusiastic Bush supporter, well golly gosh gee, they look like ultra nationalists. The type of people that will do ANYTHING to "protect" their country, including taking over other countries that could possibly pose a threat or have something they can use to eliminate threats.

50 years down the road people will finally clue into what the Bush administration is doing to this world, but there is a good chance that by then it will be much too late.
