I think I have only seen like two other Focus owners in these forums. One from calgray and one from Edmonton. Is there any other Focus owners here? If so post, Lets see if there is enuf interest to get something going in the spring. Ya, there is the SVT owners club but I am not realy interested in trucks and mustangs.

Didn't know anything about the track days, I stop by and talked to the dicks at Ford and was told there is no edmonton SVT owners group and even if there was not being the origonal purcher of the car I would not be welcome. So I said fuck it and that was all. Nothing against Mustangs or Lightings I think its more envy of you guys with the Supercharged monsters!! But if you have any info I would like to hear it.
As for the Focaljet and FocusCanada, There not local and I'am realy not to interested in what happens out East. Thats whats nice about 780Tuners, alot of differant rides and many differnant influances. |

I don't know what dealership you went to, but that's complete and utter bullshit. The SVTOA for alberta is run out of Freedom here in Edmonton and Advantage down in Calgary is involved too and there are guys with SVO's, Contours, GT's, modded regular focus's... hell anybody is welcome if you love cars (and drive a Found On Road Dead once in a while). :p

Uhmmmmmmmm I drive a couple of those........but can I take my turbo out on track days........I will put some ford mud flaps if that works? Do you guys run any events at the base? or race city in calgary?

LOL, I don't know if the mudflaps would be enough, you might have to grow a mullet too. :p
I think they normally do one down in race city and one up here at stratotech. At strato this year there was even an S2000 that ran for a while. :D |
