SNUGS WON!
We were in court today for that Failure to Yield ticket and once the young officer actually heard our side and saw the photos he tried to get the case dismissed but the prosecutor couldn't do it so we went in front of the judge and the prosecutor actually suggested misadventure and the judge ruled it was misadventure so CASE DISMISSED!
I'd like to give some thanks to Jim for his answers to my questions and some respect to this young officer for recognising that his decision to initially issue the ticket was less than justified. :D |

And agreed. It's refreshing to hear stories of officers admitting an error. |

| There is a lesson there for the rest of you, you can fight an undeserved ticket and come out ahead. Atta boy, the money you saved from that one can go to paying off your new exhaust! |

LOL, no i learned my lesson on that one. The stock mufflers stay on the car for city driving and the race exhaust waits in the garage until track day, that way if I ever get pulled over I can honestly say its stock. Which is a good thing because yesterday evening I had a cruiser without the roof lights speed up to catch me downtown in front of the office and then he stayed just behind me and rolled down his window at a stop light for a good listen before carrying on his way. :p |
