| THUD |
Well I would have to say that looks kinda neat and it looks to have been well done and not a total hack job, I don't really see the S15 in there but the S2000 assend looks good and would make ppl take a second glance at it once they see the front.
Anyone who decides to mix breed there car with bits and peaces to me has to be Cautious on what cars they want the look from and how many cars they are going to add to it's look...err.
I myself have always liked the idea of adding stuff to my CRX like a teg front & rear bumper + lights or even at one point I wanted to make it look like a mini lude but I would never mix manufactures......this may cum off as sick BUTT when it comes to cars....ya gota keep it in the family!
But there is that rare occasions when it looks alright....and this is one of them....But that's only cause it wants to honda..Ha silly DSM! :p |

| hondas deffinatly win in the realibility collum. other then that 1g and 2g dsm are better in every way imo |

| ya, no matter how much you try a DSM is not going to last like a honda. They might be slow.. but the engines can run for ever.. |

It's all about the love of the car so the money doesn't realy matter too much. I kind of feel sorry for people that spend thousands to make their civic fast. |

| Gots to have respect for the turboed honduhs though.Dsms still have way more potential.I have been driving my dsm for 2 years now,I have enough MODS done to it ,running 15 lbs daily and its still in mint shape, little rad house blowing up here and there but nothing major. Its all about how you treat your car man |

You must drive on roads that are completely straight all the time.. because honda owns DSM in a handeling compatition. |

| No man! From factory yes dsms dont handle that well ,but with a few suspemsion mods + AWD , its over for you and your honduh. |

I definetly agree. It pains me to see a set of S15 that gets wasted on something other then a 240SX. |

You see, that that was true.. You would think they would be common place in areas of racing like the SCCA.. I watched pretty much all of the SCCA run offs that were covered on speed vision.. I didn't see one.. Yet I see dozens of civics, mini's, mazda stuff.. I see mustangs, camaros.. Not a single DSM.. They obviously have more power.. why wouldn't they be there.. There were even neons there.. But not a single DSM. |

Mostly, because they don't make them anymore. If you were watching SCCA in the early-mid 90s you'd have noticed a lot of DSMs. Sad but true, it's hard to get any sort of factory sponsorship for a car they don't make anymore, (the 3G eclipse is NOT a DSM, before anyone says different), and even harder to get it from a company that is in financial straights. |

It's unbelieveable how the word rice has superseded tacky neon colors, large non-color-matching spoilers, outrageous decals, blinding paintjobs, etc. A clean job of a headlight conversion, whoever did it gets props for that - but I think altering a car with parts specifically designed for other cars is like a man growing tits. |

| IMO it's a nice car but to me no car has the sexy lines and looks of the 2004+ S2K's..... but thats just me :) |

man some of you people need to grow up... this post is about pisctures of a car with a headlight/taillight conversion, but of course it turns into a "my car is better than your car"
:drama: |

Thats because the comment DSM>Honda IMO is wrong cuz i'd still take an S2000 over a DSM any day.
Mod up your DSM's suspension and mod up an S2000's suspension... I still think the S2k will win on a course :dunno:
But I'll admit, those DSM's are pretty quick going straight  |

well my 92 civic beats stock talons and some tuned ones. So whatevs and i dont have to fix it everyweekend for it to run properly.
Dont get me wrong i am a DSM fan they are sometimes quite nice looking but they are not as reliable as a honda i dont care what anyone says, If u are a true DSM owner u know stuff goes wrong but u dont care u fix it, so dont lie and say little shit doesn't go wrong.
back to the original picture i think its a decent car , i aint a huge fan of that type of stuff but whoever did it, it looks nice and good on em |

I think it's more like how people take care of their car. when i got my talon 2 yrs ago.....omg....problems every fucking where...but after i fix "most" of it, it all good now....(just one more thing need to fix....but i am too lazy now)....everything wroks normal. and no, i don't need to fix it every weekend or months...
on the other hand, if someone has a honda, and dont' take care of it...i am sure, it's not going to last...
but i never have a old honda, so i can't really say much about honda. |

yeah that is true enough its all how you drive and maintain your vehicle i had a 79 civic before this one and it ran mint but i had to make sure i paid attention to stuff otherwise it could be a hassle. But i just dont get this forum its like the DSM hates hondas and the honda boys seem to dislike the DSMs.
why cant we all just get along, DSM aint my favorite car thats why i drive a honda but i understand people really like em, they are quick and some of them look nice , i got lots of respect for DSMs but sometimes the drivers bug me cause all they have to say is bad things about hondas cause they have nothing good to say about there DSM .
I dont want to start a flame fest but whatevs i like DSMs but ima stick with my civc :D |

| DSM owners think they are King of the Hill. Last time I checked the fastest vehicle on the 2004 Import list was a Honda Civic. Oops! |

yeah..i don't know why is that too(the hate each other thing)...haha...but i used to drive a honda too....or acura. i think it's a good car...just not enough speed, and i don't have the kind of money to do a sway or turbo.
If one day, i look for a family car. one of the place i go would be honda and acura for sure. |
