Now for my personal response:
As for the stunting ticket, pay the ticket and take it like a man. You said it yourself that you meant to do some m@d d0rift0 stuntz y0 and now that you have to be responsible for your actions...you want to get out of it???
Fork over the 4 bills.
As for the exhaust ticket, lots of members have had these tickets and if you did a Search you will find out whether or not they were successful in fighting it and what they did in doing so.

Get a lawyer. But if you spoke your mind to the officer he probably put all that in writing so it will be hard to get off. Call Tickets, they took care of my stunting ticket 2 years ago got it reduced to no demmerits and from 400 to 100.

This board is so full of drama sometimes.. I think you guys should all chill.. it was an empty parking lot with no one in sight except the cops haha, he wasnt driving like goddamn speed racer. and I know many of you who have done much stupider shit with many more people around putting them, including myself at risk, especially at meets and shows.. so grab a paper bag hes just asking for advice.

I thought the Traffic Act didn't apply in parking lots.
If so, they have no jurisdiction (sp?) there. If you weren't on a highway, they can't ticket you.

The privately owned refers to property owned by Walmart, Canadian Tire, Safeway etc. The only time I would consider a driveway a "Highway" would be if it is used by multi-families or leads to a parking lot etc. As an example ... the driveway to my home is not ordinarily used by the public & as such would not be considered a highway.

There's an easy solution.
Accept what you did was wrong.
Pay the ticket(s) you were given.
That's a simple solution, that shows you hold yourself accountable for your actions.
Why fight it? You know you fucked up - and if you don't have the balls to deal with it, perhaps you should just get the complete sex change operation now. |
