If a loading zone states:
"Loading Zone 30 min, 9am - 6pm"
Does that mean outside the time specified, you can park freely? |

6:00:01pm to 8:59:59am it is simply a normal parking stall...governed by whatever other regulations are in place for the area...but no longer a loading zone. (The sign is pretty black and white....:dunno: )
Without commercial plates though, I wouldn't park in the stall during the day. |

I've also wondered similar....
"Parking M-F 8:00am - 6:00pm, 3 hour time limit"
So m-f and sat/sun any of the hours not listed, does that mean I can park there as long as I want without getting a ticket or towed????
I have commercial plates on my vehicles too for when I park downtown during the day!!! :) |

That's the way I've always understood it. Haven't been towed or ticketed yet.....*knock on wood* |

| No, it's black and white during the stated time and dates. It does not have any information about parking outside of those times during those dates and nor does it say I can NOT park there either. I have come to my own conclusion that I can park as I like outside of the posted dates/hours but I wanted to know for certain so I don't come out to find my car towed :S |

Agreed, short of the big green "P" I'm afraid to park sometimes.
But based on this, I will proceed with caution. Thanks! |

| It's would be justafiable to fight the parking ticket if it was given to you outside of the posted hours of "operation." |

| You wouldn't recieve a parking ticket outside of the hours of prohibition on the sign...it's that simple. |

*looks at my parking ticket*
hahahahahaha Like I'm paying it anyhow, I knew there was a reason they're "commisionaires" (sp?). It's been rumored that they get commission for every parking ticket they produce and gets paid?
I parked there over night and had the vehicle moved before my 3 hour time limit was up in the am, I got a ticket with a time of over an hour after we left - I was sitting in Original Joe's when my ticket should have been issued, tacky bastards. Now I have to fight the ticket so I don't have to pay them $40 for no reason. |
