What can the police do if you park too close to a photoradar van and they took a picture of your license plate?
Also, can those device things take pictures AND make a flash? Or can they do it individually like make just a flash to scare someone or take a picture without a flash? |

As in right in front of it? They simply wouldn't let you (request you move or charge you with mischief or something). What did you do?

Flash on the bumper is tied to the camera's functions...and set off by a speeder, not a parker. |

I was in front of it. Like 2-3 feet and she flashed the camera and took a picture of my plate. I was parking in front of it. |

| As long as the curb's not yellow or it's illegal to park, then park whereever you want. After you park they will move. If you move with them then it's obstructing "justice". As for the flash you experienced, that's gonna be a huge speeding ticket.:D |

I didn't move with her. I parked once and as I was getting out of my car, I saw her lean over and then "flash", the camera light flashed. Then I threw my hands up like WTF...? |

| arent photo radar vans parked on the "wrong" side of the road anyways (facing the wrong way). and if u park infront of it with your back towards it so it can take a picture, wouldnt you be parked on the wrong side of the road facing the wrong way making it illegal? |

| they arn't always parked facing the other way, the ones i see on 132 ave are always facing the right way, but the one on 137ave is facing the right way but on the wrong side of the street |

what i mean is
<---- Small road
----->
van facing <---- parked on oncoming traffic going ----->
<---- Traffic
-----> |
|
|

| No, she was parked so traffic was coming up behind her. So I was parked legally. And on the side street, I was parked on the right hand side along with the other 20 cars that were along there. |

Well it's been about a month and no ticket or anything so I'm guessing she did the flash to "scare" me. So it's all good. |

No, I saw her reach over and acually take the picture manually. Usually they just program it where they sit back, read, and let the camera do the work. |
