I've always like the simple name "Driven", for a Nissan club.
It uses an old slogan, incorporating the history Nissan has with the old Datsuns, as well it still holds true for today - the cars are all stioll driven today.
Just a thought - but I forewarn, there is a new club being formed in BC right now for Nissan/Datsuns...I'm also involved with it and they are still looking for a name.
This is something to look into aswell, as they are forming a large umbrella club to contain smaller, more focused chapter, possibly new or current clubs. It is being organized by the three main Datsun clubs in BC (the 510 Club of BC, The Z Registry of BC, and Vancouver Island Datsun Enthusiests aka VIDE) with them being the founding chapters, thought the club will be Nissan based. There will be very open to new chapters (ie 240SX chapter is being mentioned.)
These chapters will act on there own as almost indepedant clubs, having the own execs, etc. When it comes to events like the annual Show and Shine, autocrosses, track days, the larger club would sponser it, as it is the sole insurance holder. The chapters would then take responsibility for a part of the events
If there was a desire to make this Edmonton/Alberta club into a more traditional club - I think it would be benificial to look for a "big brother" club to grow under, like the BC/West coast one. When it comes to insurance, it a big help, as it divides the single cost between all the clubs, instead of each club having to buy their own policy.

Insurance is a problem... it was a hassle for our Edmonton Rx7 club. That is something we would deffinatly have to figure out, so not one of us could get hung out to dry because of someone sueing our club for whatever reason.

What do you say we try to vote on a name, and then try to figure out who we should "grow" under.... Like Inzane said, they're a properly established club (meaning they have insurance :) ) This means we should all meet sometime in the next little bit, Unfortunatly I have finals during a couple of days from Dec 5-dec 13, but I'd try to find the time if anybody wanted to meet up.
I'd vote for that nismolution. :bigthumbup:

Nismolution? Hell no. We want it to sound more professional. At the end of the day, everyone is just going to say the Nissan club anyway. If I said to some dude that I was part of the "Nismolution club" they would laugh and say "what the hell is that". I personally have no ideas, but I know that I want it to sound pro.
NMSC= Nissan Motorsports Club
NMC= Nissan Motorsports Club
Something along these lines.
Then again thats just me.
That Nismolution name just seems to give me the vib or "rice". Just a bunch of nissan cars with stickers and lights and shit. Not for me. Sorry dudes.
