| That's what some say. I've known others that the police pulled them over for having them on while driving (bulbs weren't visible) and the cop made them cut the power wire on the spot. I know it's not illegal if the car is park. |

| I've driven by many cops with mine on and i havnt gotten a ticket for it yet... i think its more or less like a exhaust mod, if the cop feels like being a prick, he can pull you over. |

Poperly stated: If you're behaving like a prick on the road, and the cop sees a need to pull you over, you'll get the extra ticket.
And yes, to the initial question, the lights are illegal to be on if the car's in motion. |

| Put it this way, it all depends on the mood the cop is in. Just dont drive like an ass and give him a reason to pull you over. BTW I live half a minute away from the big cop shop in the park and I pass by cops all the time. Sometimes I get pulled over, sometimes I dont. In the past year and a half since ive had them, ive been pulled over twice with only a single 57$ ticket to show for it. |

| I had several close calls with my led's. The worste close call was in the middle of the day I bumped the buttons on the led controll box and the leds started goin back and forth flashing away but I didnt realize till I got pulled over. You cannot see my bulbs front rear or sides (recently broke the sides) but the cop was still not impressed. He said If there on period there illegal unless there not flashing , not blue or red or not moving. I argued with him it was in the middle of the day and he threatened me with a $420 stunting ticket. That was in Leduc heck if the ticket is only 50-60 bucks here Ill havem on all the time! But they are illegal when moving or if not the right colors and strobe/flash patterns they are illegal too. What about that illuminated sign on gateway? Thats far worse than our little wee lights take down the sign! Take down the sign!! |

| Yes its Sad but True, any colored bulbs or underbody LEDS, and even them damn neon liscence plate holders are all illegal.. But most cops will only give you a ticket for them if they pull you over for somethign else.. or if they feel like being a dick.. I always say if the shit is illegal why can the stores sell it then right?? However all of the packaging on the lights you buy will read "For Off-Road or Show use Only" Therefore.. you know you can get in shit for them.. But i like my lights anyways..lol |
