| ok i just found out that a friend of mines best friend is buying an NSX from down south somewhere. I guess he found one and is paying in CASH. His parents are loaded of course. He used to drive a brand new tiburon and his older brother currently drives a wicked WRX w/ rims, exhaust, some engine work done and its just a generally nice clean rex. Anyways just thought i'd share and hopefully I can get some pics of it and maybe one day i'll get a ride in it! |

Cash is hard to believe.
Maybe a certified cheque or Money Order but no way would a successful couple (your buddy's parents) be so stupid to walk around with that much cash.
Unless they're drug dealers.
Possibly a wire transfer as well, I find it hard to believe anyone does the whole "cash in a suitcase, handcuffed to their wrist, packing heat, black suit & sunglasses" bit straight from Hollywood. |

When my father goes to the Barrett - Jackson car auction every year he has cash on hand in case something catches his eye. The sight of large quantities of cash goes a long way to persuading an owner on the fence about letting their pride and joy go. |

I dunno if it is a private sale. I was pointing out that it is not out of the norm for goods to be exchanged for CASH. There will still be a receipt or bill of sale as a paper trail of the transaction.
Why would a dealership be suspicious? As long as the bills are not fakes there is nothing to worry about. |

No it was from the dealership. Its a harley dealership in BC, im sure they are you used to people paying cash for bikes. Its not any of thier business anyways how someone pays. Nothing is better then cash. |
