hondaluva
I park as far out as necessary and next to the curb so I only have one car beside me .

How do you park?

haha, i like to give people like u door dent(s)...

MeXx
i park far away from the door were i cant get door dings and i take up 2 stalls.

Jord@n
It depends on the situation obviously. How you park is a vague question. If I am parallel parking I tend to leave enough room in front of me incase the person behind me doesn't leave any room. For regular parking I usually back in because that way there is less risk involved in getting out if you are next to a big truck.

I try to park as far away from the door as possible to. But it never fails no matter how far I park away and how many empty stalls there are, some budhead always has to come park right next to me.

If I have to park next to people I always try to park next to nice vehicles. im hoping by them owning nice vehicles they will respect mine and not hit my car with their door.

oldraven
Where the designated parking spots are, and dead centre. The way it was intended.

stealth
At the back of parking lots or front of parking lots where i am next to a curb, so there is only one car next to me, i park about 1 inch away from the curb.

Give me a ding and you'll be minus a side view mirror. I park far away from people, too many dents and I had to get them all pulled. Costs too much money to park near people.

GQsmooth
I park as far away as possible, to where there are no cars that will park by me for sure.

Too many knobs in Edmonton, that don't have respect for other ppl's cars

that's y dont' park like asshole.....and i still have all my side mirror(s)

yeah....i always try give as much space to other car or cars if i need to park between...my i have my car...2yrs?....and got...one or two dent....but i guess it also has to do with luck...and i always try NOT to park beside trucks, van, old cars, beater......try to find some new nice car to park beside......hahaha...

SilverZ24
I either park as far away as possible, or in the spot right next to the handicapped parking spot. And when I'm parked next to a handicapped spot, I park almost right on the line so that I'm a long ways away from the other spot and the handicapped spots almost never get taken, and if they do they still have tons of room to say away from my car and I find they usually do. :)

REFLUX
depends on where you're going
if it's places like WalMart/Superstore or any other high traffic place with TOO many people....far ass away

if it's someplace like Staples and I'm not staying long.....:dunno:

SilverNeonRacer
depends which vehicle i'm driving.. normamly dead center of a stall.. if I find an ass taking up 2 spots and I'm in a beater and I can still fit between the lines on their drivers side I pull in there...

I'm between the lines, not them so i'm in the right. Once when wallymart was still at londonderry, there was a big 4x4 who parked at an angle and was almost taking up 2 spots, I was driving i think my suzuki swift at the time, it was christmas, well boxing day so spots where very limited even far away. So I pulled in next to him, shopping car return on the drivers side and him on the right, i was about 3" away from his truck, didn't hit it or ding it in any way, i was between the lines, he was not. I came out and saw him crawling through the pass side to get in... he pulled out no prob and mot a ding on my car either.

I hate ppl who pull in and abandon. I try to park between the lines all the time, sometimes if i'm driving a bigger vehicle and buddy next to me has parked over the line I have to move over a bit. having a big vehicle is no excuse either, when i drive my dad's truck a 96 Ram 1500 club cab long box, this thing is over 26ft long bumper to bumper it may take a pull in, pull out line up better and pull in, but i park it properly and only park where there is enough room for me to manouver it around since it turns like a sherman tank.

That usually works untill you get some pompous ass like my brother did. He was in a parking lot waiting for something and, he felt like shit so decided to lay down in his truck. Then this guy in a Mercedes pulled up next to him and just whiped open his door right in to the side of my bro's truck. So of course my brother got out and had a few words with the guy I don't remember exactly what happend, but I know the guy said basically that his car was worth so much more and it probably did more damage to his car and my bros truck was a pos(1999 nissan frontier) so it didn't matter.

BananaBoy
Always between the lines, that's why the're there. Only oversized vehicals should need more than one space. If you feel you need more space, park far away.

I just head to where there is less cars. The more people there is, the farther away I park. I look for a space that I can pull though so I don't have to back out when I leave.

The worst parking I've seen was at the Crappy Tire in Ft Mac. There was a Silver Ram parked in 2 handicap spaces and 2 other spaces. :loco:

3gec
depends what I driving. If I am driving my car then far away from others. Always people end up there like others said. Company truck then it don't really matter. If it's the 5 ton then usually on the road next to the curb or in the parking lot takeing like 2-4 stalls. Where ever it fits.

Alpha Gangsta
I park as close to the entrance as possible and just hope for the best.
On occasion though I take down the license plate numbers of the cars parked beside me just in case/

Parallel parking can be sketchy, if the curb is high the door won't open, and I worry about the rims. Normal parking, I try to park where I can watch it. With the bike, on the sidewalk 10 ft. from the door. Bikes rule.:)

Yea, thats the one thing about lowering that is such a pain in the ass to watch out for. Because if you have a woman in the car and you don't mention not to fling the door open, oh my god!

CanadianSkyline
Thats why RHD is nice, haha. But ya...i just park as far as possible away from other cars and try to park next to a curb so i only have other cars on one side.

Cause with RHD im the one close to the curb so i know to be careful and not slam the door against the curb.

It doesn't bother me if a car is parked far out in the lot taking up two stalls...It just pisses me off when parking spaces are limited and some jackass decides his car is so hot he needs to take up two stalls right in front of the entrance.
