Does anyone know if it would cost an arm and a leg to ship an engine? I want to ship an engine to New Mexico, and was wondering how much i should be looking at.

Billy
I'll ballpark it and say $500 or so. Call around and get freight quotes from the trucking companies. Make sure you have the proper dimensions and weight.

Kiddo
I'd say around 750 or so cause it costed me 150 to train my engine over here from toronto

stealth
BUMP Anyone else.

I got quoted 230 from dhl.

Billy
Really? And they'll take it? That's crazy. They won't take anything over 70lbs from where I work. Do it. So cheap. If you actually use a trucking company like Yellow or CF then it will be expensive.

Adam @ Apex
Stay away fromt the regular shipping lines and call a freight company like Day&Ross. It cost me 78 bux to send a full motor to new brunswick.

Well KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE, DUTY!!!!!

U will get whored on duty , unless you put it down as a gift you will get owned on duty my friend just did with some clutch parts from the states was basically as much as the shippin was itself the duty so yeah.

If you put it down as a gift you get less shipping insurance i believe, i would talk with DHL about duty and so forth.

stealth
dont you get charged duty if you are the one recieving the product, like how i have in the past?

I am the one shipping the engine.

Adam thanks for the info, do you have their contact info?

Thx

Sam

My bad i read the wrong on the shipping , that you were sending it, i would suggest finding out or askin the reciever to find out, nothing worse then getting a item and going WTF when ugotta fork out some more coin.

stealth
