Getting in contact with fellow members - Click HERE for Original Thread

I just wanted to get your opinion on something. In your opinion, what is the best way to get in contact with you to update you on upcoming club events, meetings, new members, affiliates, news, etc.

Would you prefer:
* Email
* Website Private Message
* Website Private Email
* Telephone

The reason I ask this is that I have sent out a few emails to our current members, as well as, our new members and I haven't received any responses. I know everyone is busy and you probably don't check your email as often as I do. So, I'm unsure if I should continue to send out group emails to our members. I'd prefer to stay away from posting on the website when it comes to official club business so let me know what I can do for you to make this work.

Darcy, I think we can just use this forum as a starting point.....sorry not replying your email yet, I am still thinking how to excute your idea.....

i agree, i think the forum is a good idea to post "events" but my only question is, what happened to some of the members that attended the meet? it seems to me that there are only a few people posting in these forums - not enough.

I totally agree to use this forum as the major means of communication between members, however, there is certain official club business that shouldn't be posted in an open forum.

That's were our club member email / mailing list comes into effect when I need to contact our members. It has worked in some cases since I have been contacted at home on a few occasions. That's what it's meant to be used for!

I have also sent out emails to all our new members regarding registering on the v8less website and contributing to the discussions in this forum. I have yet to see any of our new members on this board nor have I received any email replys.

This club will only see success from the contributions of it's members, without it, we shall surely fail.

yeah the possible reason why the "prelude club" hasn't sky rocketed with new members is due to the fact that it's the middle of winter right now. i guess they all want to wait til spring time to get more involved?

I think once we get the url registered, a web page created, logo designed, business cards made and stickers printed, it will all fall into place.

That's my main goal right now is to get the logo designed and business cards printed. However, I don't have the means to create any such logos. Does anyone have the skills to pull this off?

I've contacted a few TPC members for help but they haven't got back to me as of yet.

Bernie
I think the email or msn messager, icq.
