Yes I am in edmonton.
I don't know too much about car engine, so i wouldn't know if it needs any work or not. but what i can tell you is that it runs great. i drive it every day to work actually.
other than that, 2 of the tires would prolly need to be replaced within 4-6 months (tread is starting to get thin.) and rotated as well.
you are welcome to test drive it to see how it runs if you like. |

It says that it runs good, it's the vehicle inspection that is needed to get any car that is 15 yrs or older insured. |

nope, not unless the technician can predict the future...
I've also never seen any auto inspection report that ever states that a car needs work in the future. |

I thought they sometimes say things like
-a small crack on windshield
-front axle seals leaking
things like that. I don't know, just checking! |

it doesn't really say anything like that. if you want to, you can see the report and judge for yourself... |

owned it for almost a year, don't really know about the service/work done history prior to that. i don't know if the timing chain has been replaced or not.
When i said i've never seen any auto inspection report that ever states that a car needs work in the future, i didn't mean every auto inspection report, i meant only those that i've had done and saw...
i've only had 2 inspection done on the car.
- one was almost a year ago and nothing was mentioned of future work to be done on the car ( i wasn't there when the inspection was done, i only read the report.)
-2nd auto inspection was for insuring the car as the car has reached the 15 yrs or older category. nothing was mentioned there too.
this is what i have done since i got the car:
- tire rotation
- oil change
- winter maintenance tune ups
- new battery
- new gasket/seal and new alternator because the gasket had failed and engine oil leaked onto the alternator
- one rear window vent due to vandalism. |
