So I stole this motorcycle back in August. Got busted and recieved charges of :
1) Criminal Flight
2)Theft Under $5000
3)Dangerous Driving
Upon attending my court date the CP tells me I'm not on the docket and instructs me to go downstairs and ask the court clerk if there is a file on my charges. There wasn't any file and I was sent home. Last night I was pulled over and arrested on warrants for the charges above and now I'm being prosecuted. Is this allowed? Is there a loophole so I can get off? If it's not possibe to get off do you think I can get the dangerous driving charge removed because the only life I endangered was my own, being on a motorcycle and all. We all know what happens when a motorcycle goes up against a car. :eek: |

First off - if you haven't already gotten a lawyer get your act together and get one. These are criminal charges being brought against you - not some silly red light ticket.
Again, GET A LAWYER.
Secondly - in regards to dangerous driving. You endangered the lives of EVERYONE on the road - drivers, bicyclists, pedestrians, etc... by evading police (Sounds like you were in a high speed chase).
Thirdly, GET A LAWYER - no one here has the qualifications to give you advice on loopholes (At least as far as I know). This is something that can SEND YOU TO JAIL. Do you want a broomstick shoved up your ass for fun? Then GET A LAWYER. |

I don't want to like pin point you or be too judgemental. But i guess you didn't take into consideration on how hard that person worked for that bike.
