Yup a 2000 focus zx3 with front engine 5.8 v8 rwd all done up in a sleeper shell. The souped up beamer had no chance in hell keeping up with it for the video.
edit add on : I noticed since they had fans running allover the front of the car either at the beggining or the end must mean theres some cooling issues ;) havin to hide in that puny bay.

The 351 is a 5.7. One cubic inch doesn't put it over the top from the 350/5.7 Chevy.
Is that the dark blue one? Very cool, but those videos were kind of crap. At night, and they don't really show the power. I'd like to see a 1/4 run by that thing, or at least a drive by hard on it. Very cool though. I imagine it's pretty much identical to the 302 conversion. |

Well the 351's in our older trucks have 5.8 casted on the upper intake manifolds :dunno: been discussing this with many tecs over the years and your the first person to ever say that a 351 is a 5.7 to me.

Saying its a 5.7 doesnt sound right.
Ya it was the blue one and I remember that souped up beamer stompin on the gas to follow the focus but it was like ya right. |

| Got to kugel components.com they do lots of V8 Focus swaps. They had video links in the past. The spelling could be wrong. Other videos can be found on google serching for The Focus RS8. |

Yeah, well, that's Ford for you. They'd say anything they can to make their 5.7 sound bigger than the ultimate sb 5.7 from Chevy.
