trying my hand at this one. trying to make the stock signals clear.
im just wondering where to buy the piece that makes the tail clear, bottom piece of picture /____\ looks like that and is slightly curved. lighting store?
and anyone else do this. i think mike was thinking of it.
and 1st time and no broken lenses :p |

I think most guys with a 4th gen have done this already, and i just went to home depot and bought the covers for flourecent lights, and good job for not cracking the lens... me and jeff got that down too now.
BTW i thought you got new lights. |

not quite yet. gotta find a way to maybe curve the clear part a bit like the stock pieces, smooth out the edges. 1 piece chipped, so i might have to cut a new one out... other then that i just have to reheat the glue and push it all back together :cool:
i was going to maybe notch the clear piece too to clip into the stock spot, but that looks like a hella amount of work haha
and BTW if anyone else is doing this i bought a whole light cover, so i have like 3 square feet of extra clear light cover left. if anyone wants it, come pick it up :bthumbup: |

| people people...what happens when you heat things up...they tend to melt or become more flexable....turn your oven on max...or stove i should say.. and let the burner heat up red...then just run the plastic over the heat until it becomes pliable..then just bend it into the shape you want...verrrrrry simple |

| or better yet take some saran wrap and some pipe cleaner wire (that shit u used in kindergarden to make shapes with the fuzz and stuff) and you can mold your own. they will be soooooo clear altezzas would be put to shame.. |

| haha, ya ben i see where your coming from. 95% of people think altezzas are rice, and im on the fence. i personally like a stock, clean looking light, but altezzas don't bother me. everyone is different i guess. all up to personal preference. |

| im just raggin.... i just dont understand whats nice about cheap lookin clear plastic as opposed to clean lights the cars professional designers felt the car should use...i highly doubt the designer the clear tail lights went to engineering school.. |

| lol, it doesn't really matter if the tail light designer was an engineer, or someone like me and you trying to make something different. but if you like the altezza's put them on, be different from everyone else in the club...its your car man. |

| i like altezzas on white cars, i think thats the best color for them due to the fact they blend in better. i like matts tails |

because so many civics,trucks,neons,etc. have wrecked the unique look of euro or clear lights. now you see them on anything and everything, the stock lights just look more prestige and not so cheap looking. Your car already looks good with the new paint, kit and shit...but thats just my opinion on the euro lights |
