| I got a 5th gen lude with 29000km on it. I have it parked for the winter and i start it through out the winter. But recently i noticed when i let it run for awhile, the exhaust makes a really funny noise like its bogging down or something, RPM's seem to be a lil lower than normal. Any ideas? Does it just need a good cruise once spring comes?? |

Does it occur when it's cold out or just anytime you start the car?
Question, why do you even bother starting the car at all? There really isn't any advantage to starting you car and letting it idle for 15 minutes. I would have disconnected the battery and let it sit there till spring...
Perhaps a mouse has crawled up your exhaust pipe and has made a nest in your downpipe... |

| Where'd you park it? It's fairly common for cars parked for the winter to have rhodents crawl up the exhaust and get in the engine bay. It could also be something to do with the gas depending on how long its been in the tank. |

Doesnt matter if its cold or not.
My dad suggested i start it every now and then, i was gonna disconnect the battery.
But that doesnt solve the problem of mice going into the exhaust.
And when i start it its good, some liguid does come out of the muffler, and then after a couple minutes in starts boggin down.
I parked it in my garage. The fuel in premium and I add a fuel thing for winter from crappy tire. Ive parked 2 cars for winter and have never had this problem.
Thanks for the quick replies!
I dunno :dunno: |

| If something was in the exhaust, it would bog all the time I would assume. I'd disconnect the battery, let it sit till the roads are driveable, then take it into honda. Let them deal with it. |
