Bolt Pattern? - Click HERE for Original Thread

redbaron303
Okay, so I have my 86 nissan 300zx turbo, now I don't know what the bolt pattern is on that car? does anyone here know or know where I can find out, without calling Nissan?

I'm thinking about getting some rims next summer as well and it helps to know the bolt pattern when looking... in addition does anyone know where to have mag wheels refinished?

ManHunter
Wheelworks fixed my wheels twice now. They can probably do whatever you want to your wheels.

Hi there,
I thought maybe this link would help you measure the bolt pattern yourself.
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/boltpatt.htm

Hope that helps you out.

Thanks... that's actually neat, I didn't know that's how 5 lug wheels were measured. Plus the site has conversion rates too...

5x4.5" as most Japanese 5 bolt cars.

it is 5x114.3

Hey, Welcome to V8less SR20DET... Wonder what motor you;re running :)

sr20det95
I have a black top sr20det from a s13. I am building a s14 sr20det right now, to replace my s13 sr20det. cause I sold it.

SRBURG13
Ummm, what city are you from?? If you're from Edmonton, where have you been this whole time? Hiding?

BlueTurboEGG
That's some turbo on there...

Was that car on the projects portion of the sdsefi? I tried to take a look again but it's not there. It was for sale if I remember correctly. A white 1995 s14.
I remember asking the owner a few questions about it. He left his girlfriends e-mail to be contacted at (on the website). And I think he took slight offence becuase I assumed he was a women by the nature of the e-mail address.

Welcome to the boards. :)

Are you the original owner who did the swap or did you buy it from the owner?
You must be from Calgary?

sr20det95
no, no offence you were right, that is the car, the reason that I put it up for sale was to see if anyone would be interested. I live in calgary, and I was the original owner of it ever since I did the sr20det swap in 2000 the motor have been running strong for the pass 3 years. the problem is that I just took over a import shop and I deal with a lot of 240sx owner that wants sr20det.so I want to have a sr20det that can represent my shop and all nissan fans out there.

Wow, nice how things turn out. Couldn't sell the car, now you own a shop that has a need for such a car. :)
What shop is it that you own?

There is some interest up here to start a 240 club. Maybe you can let some of your customers know about this website so the club can become Alberta wide, not just Edmonton.

You have been running sds ever since you got the motor in there?
Have you ever run it down the quater-mile? Or any autocross or roadcourse racing?

sr20det95
my shop is call AutoDream. I took the car to the track in spring, before I have this turbo, at 10psi I ran 13.9 @ 100mph. at this point my fuel injectors are at 100% duty. hoping that I can do better this year. but yeah I have about 4 sr20det to install this spring already so meeting nissan fans is easy enought for me in calgary. please keep me posted if there is any big meet.

That is a nice looking site you have for your shop. Are you going to have some build up pictures of your car in the 240 tech section?

That's good you have 4 sr-swaps coming up. Sounds like business is good. :)
How much do you charge for a swap?

What was your set-up for that 13.9? Was it just the stock turbo?

The nissan group on here is still small, but I'm sure there will be more meetings when the weather gets better.

redbaron303
So my bolt pattern is 5x114.3 but does the offset matter, or can I buy any rim with that pattern!? I'm thinking about saving for some advans?!

sr20det95
the offset for your car should be around +37 or +38 to look flush with your fenders

1mns13
Offset will have to be matched with rim width. If you remove the rim you can measure the space available. Then you can look into available rim widths and offsets, and choose the one suitable to your requirements.

thank you for checking out my website, but I haven't have a chance to up date it lately. I will have info and more pics in the 240sx section soon.

I had a t3 from a 300zx, it was running great but my injectors were at 100% duty so that was all I could do.
With the stock setup no boost controll on stock t25 I ran a 14.2sec at 95MPH. on street tires.

What times (or power levels) will you be expecting with your new turbo?
I guess you'll be needing a few items upgraded to use that?

14.2 stock, the guys up here with sr's will have nice numbers to start off with.

Did you ever have any problems with the sds?

sr20det95
you will be seeing 1 there soon enough, it is a S13 hatch with an s14 sr20det, front mount intercooler. that is my latest project. With my new motor I am aiming for 300whp and maybe 12sec in the 1/4 mile. I will keep you guys posted

I have no problems with the sds system so far
